Dr. Kahlenberg is professional and treats patients with courtesy. I was surprised that there was no physical exam covered during my visit to assess my progress, only an analysis of the x-ray. Dr. Kahlenberg answered my questions, but did not really seem empathetic to my concerns.

Dr. Westrich grasped my situation quickly. He asked appropriate questions and gained my trust by connecting the important points and stated his opinion of what I needed clearly. I am grateful to have been able to get a consult appointment online with him and now I have a surgery date. Denise presented the facts clearly and the information I took home was what I needed. After spending 18 months with another Ortho group in Albany and getting nowhere, this experience was very much appreciated.

I have a long relationship with Dr. Bostrom dating back to the 1990's when he repaired meniscus tears on both knees. I spent a lot of time and money traveling from Gainesville Florida to have my left knee replaced based on my prior experiences, his very high level of ability and his dedication to forwarding the medicine through conducting research and publishing. As an Assistant Professor at a college in Gainesville Florida, I have limited funds and many choices.I still chose HSS and Dr. Bostrom and will do so again in May when I have my right knee replaced.

Just very quick and dismissive on follow-up appointments. He may see tons of patients who have joint replacements but for me uts the first time. He tends to say everything is normal but does not explain why the pains are there and how to help relieve some of the pain
