Dr Shen and his PA were friendly, professional, and took the time to listen and explain. They were kind and thoughtful regarding my issues and in their explanations. They did not rush thru the appointment. I am very confident in their abilities and expertise.

I had no pain ever after my hip replacement. I was able to begin rehab within 3 days, and walk for at least an hour less than a month after surgery. Dr. Shen is wonderful!

I’ve worked in the healthcare industry for over 30 years in and outside of the hospital. I have NEVER experienced nor witnessed such an amazing patient experience. I live in Washington DC and I am so happy I made the decision to have my surgery at HSS. I’ve already shared my story with friends, family, and healthcare providers and professionals, and highly encourage them to have ANY orthopedic surgery at HSS. I can’t say enough great things about your well-oiled establishment.

Provider was selected to provide gel injections & after a wait of 1 1/2 months, advised at the appointment that he does not provide those injections.
