Already provided in previous question. In addition, I chose her because I knew she was a specialist with women with bone density issues. Indeed, she did need to use a specific bone supportive cage on my femur due to osteopenia. She was amazing from beginning to end. I will recommend her to others in need of THR or TKR.

My overall experience at HSS was very positive. I feel that I was given excellent care thanks to Dr. Gausden and her staff. Dr. Gausden is a very genuine and caring physician who I think truly uses a patient-centered approach. I would rate Dr. Gausden higher than a mere 5, she's an 11 at least on this scale. Outstanding professional pre, during and post surgery. Perfect "bedside manner" i.e., positive before and after, encouraging about recovery..

Good physicians don't have to broadcast their expertise. It was easy to appreciate Dr Gausden's ability by her quiet confidence she had in her explanations and answers to our questions.

Dr Gausden and her staff are exceptional in every way. First Dr. Gausden is absolutely an amazing surgeon. She is so confident in her expertise that it just made me feel confident in doing the surgery which came out very good. I feel so much better after the surgery. 2nd as busy as she is, she takes the time you need to talk to her like a true friend and answer any questions you have. I would have to say she is better than very good. Her staff has been wonderful as well. My calls are always returned and questions answered. Everyone is very polite and helpful. I have often recommended Dr. Gausden at HSS to everyone I meet who has hip pain and curious of who to go to.

I was on the fence about facing knee surgery, but I was convinced by Dr. Gaudsen and her assistant that it was the right thing to do and I was reassured by the way they answered all my questions with courtesy and professionalism.

Dr. Gausden spoke with me prior to the surgery and again in recovery. I had to stay overnight and she saw me again in the morning prior to my departure. She was fantastic, caring, clearing explanations, and allayed any concerns.

Dr Gausden's passion and how clearly she studies and keeps up to date on stats and technology is impressive. The way she answered my questions made me feel very confident that she was the best prepared for my surgery. I interviewed four surgeons before the operation- Dr Gausden blew me away. She also runs a tight ship - her team stuck with me every step of the way. After the surgery, Dr Gausden came to tell me the xray looked great, Her enthusiasm delivering this news was perfect. I left the hospital feeling hopeful I was in good hands.

The doctor was very nice, I even looked her up and read about her and her experience. Reading about someone definitely can give you an outlook on someone but when you meet them, you feel more comfortable. The doctor seems like a hard-working woman. She seems like she really cares about her job and she was very honest with me about what the recovery is going to be like she gave me some information that I needed it and I’m taking that advice and I’m very impressed on how fast the Hospital got back to me to help me with the process of quitting smoking. I’m very ready to take care of some things to come back to meet with the doctor and to fix my problem in my knee amen to your Hospital. I feel truly blessed.

Dr Gausden is a knoowledgeable practitioner who made herself available several times on the day of the procedure to explain the next steps and to answer questions. The material that she and her team put together explaining what I needed to do post-procedure to ensure a ful recovery.
