Dr Markowicz is the greatest doctor he explains honestly exactly what the health issue is and what he can do to solve it I had hip replacement successfully by him on May 14, 2026 and I go with great confidence for a knee replacement with him in September 2026. I feel confident that I am in the best hands !! He is also a very kind and patient person

HSS is a pleasure to use for my medical care. Taken on time to see a patient, totally knowledgeable doctor concerning my knee. Informed, concerned and he even suggested I see another HSS doctor for a condition in my hands. That second doctor was at HSS in Puramas New Jersey near where I live. He too was terrific. If nearby, why would anyone not go to HSS.

We were a little early for my appointment, but the staff took me back to xray right away. Everyone is kind, and very professional. I didn’t have to wait long for Dr. Markowitz.
He is polite, kind, knowledgeable, and honest, just to name a few! He explained everything in detail and in a way my husband and I both understood. He also gave me options to help me.
If I need an orthopedic surgeon in the future, he will be my choice at HSS.

Dr. Markowicz provided detailed information in language I could understand. I also appreciate his letting me record and I have reviewed the information several times since our visit. The staff was very nice. Xray tech was awesome. Angel was an angel! Dr. M was very direct, honest and took time no other physicians ever do to explain everything. I was impressed. He didn't make me feel rushed and listened to my experiences with issues and medications which is important since there are things I cannot take for pain. I feel I can trust him to do his best for me.
