I have complete confidence in Dr Carli. He is a skilled surgeon, an excellent communicator both pre and post-surgery with my wife and I. He previously replaced my left hip in 2022 and I had an excellent outcome. He is an outstanding doctor.

Very Professional and the only surgeon, out of the 9 surgeons I met, who asked that I record, with my iPhone, his discussion of the procedure he was going to perform on my knee and the repair he needed to perform. I feel that if the need for another procedure on my right knee becomes necessary, Dr. Alfonso Carli would be seriously considered. It always comes down to availability, and Dr. Carli, through divine intervention, made himself available at a crucial time.

In addition to his exceptional skill, he is a warm, caring doctor. The latter is not a prerequisite for a great surgeon, but it was most welcome.

Dr Carli made time for my questions pre and post surgery and by the xray Pic he showed me post I could see his excellent skills at cleaning up my joint which was a mess and getting perfect alignment of my new TKA. I am very happy with the results

Dr.Carli is not only an outstanding physician but he's also a kind, caring and thoughtful individual. He answers any and all questions and is reassuring and honest. I know without a doubt that if I hadn't found Dr.Carli I would have lost my leg and possibly my life.

I appreciate Dr Carli's honest description of my surgery and his bedside manner. I especially appreciated his phone call to me at home the following morning, since he realized I probably was out of it when he visited me after surgery.

Over the past 7 years, Dr. Carli was always there to make sure I was comfortable with my decisions, help me through the surgery with follow ups and knowing that if I had a problem I can be right back in touch for his help. His surgical skills are made me confident that everything will turn out fine, but his communication and patient to patient skills are unmatched.

My new orthopedic Dr Alberto Carli at HSS I met today! Very thorough explaining exactly what's your diagnosis is and what he feels best for your care. He's also very detailed oriented explaining your treatment plan and his presentation is superb. I've never met a doctor who allowed me to video my consultation so I can go back and make reference to. I can't say I'm looking forward for my upcoming knee replacement but I know I'm in good hands and happy to be his patient because it can be exhausting finding and vetting doctors👏🏽💯

Not only is Dr. Carli a great surgeon, he is accessible meaning I feels he communicates with me NOT at me.
Additionally, every PA in his orbit is extremely competent, caring and personable along with his staff including Lily and Ashley.

Dr. Carli is AWESOME! He explained every part of my hip replacement surgical journey. He is professional and friendly. His sense of humor put me at ease. Dr. Carli is a doctor/surgeon I would definitely return to if the need presented itself. I forgave Dr. Carli for stapling me! That's how much I like him!

I was very pleased with visits with Dr Carli. In my initial consult he was extremely thorough, informative, helpful and kind. I felt very positive about having him as my THR surgeon. He followed up to make sure I booked the surgery, which I really appreciated. That was postponed. My second visit with him, to follow up for the next surgery date, was also a positive experience. It is not an easy decision to have this procedure, so feeling confident about your choice of surgeon, as I do, is very important.
