Dr. Gonzalez Della Valle is a fantastic surgeon. From my first consultation in Paramus many months ago through surgery he has been great. What I like most about him is that he demonstrates absolute expertise, competence and confidence without any of the arrogance that I have encountered with most other surgeons. He immediately diagnosed my issue, demonstrated on my scans and explained the solution. Maybe most importantly, he understood my aspirations from a functionality perspective, (to return to a competitive level of fitness including Crossfit and Expert skiing) and managed my expectations. He never suggested that I was just another senior person hoping to walk and do daily functional things without pain. I can not speak highly enough of him.

Did some research and was looking for someone that I could relate to and had experience performing the anterior approach for my hip surgery. Special Services gave me a list of doctors to choose from and Dr. Della Valle seemed to be the right fit for me and I was very happy with him and his bedside approach.

Dr. Gonzalez DellaValle did the surgery on my left knee so I had every confidence in him for my right knee. I am very satisfied with him. I'm sure his expertise was the same on my right knee. Time will tell.

Doctor Della Valle, I called him my doctor" because he saved my right leg in 2008 and repaired beyond expectations after very complicated fracture and two botched surgeries by others.He is my doctor because I trust him with my life, his professional expertise, experience, knowledge, manners, compassion and everything what medical professional should have, doctor Della Valle has and is just beautiful soul, always explaining, asking and informing patient to the clearest and most comfortable point.I wish other doctors would have Doctor Della Valle as example of medical professional excellence.

Doctor A. G. Della Valle and his team are example of excellence in medical care, professionalism and compassion and working with sick patients to make them better and free of pain. I always highly recommend doctor Della Valle to others because he saved my leg in 2008 after very complicated fracture and this is the reason I came back to him again.

This is my third surgery with Dr. Della Valle. I am extremely pleased with his skills as a surgeon and he is a great, compassionate, smart and helpful physician. I eventually need both of my knees replaced and will be asking him to perform those two surgeries.

Dr Della Valle took the time to clearly explain what was going on with my knee and answered all of my questions in a way that was easy to understand. He was very patient and made sure I felt comfortable with the information and the treatment options. When I left the office, I was originally planning to delay the surgery a bit, but after thinking over the weekend, and understanding everything better, I felt confident moving forward. I really appreciated how thorough and reassuring he was throughout the visit.
