Pleasant and friendly, did take his time to consult and discuss. Him and his team has done wonderful job with my surgery, I am very happy. I spent whole year before visiting HSS, begging for knee replacement on few places, and was denied by all, including White Plains hospital due to my age, weight and high blood pressure. Dr. Chalmers had no problem with it. I also highly appreciate his willingness to accept Medicare payments on contrary with some other "gold digger" surgeons who don't . Wishing him great and bright future. Thank you doc.

My blood work had two things showing abnormal. Wording could be less dramatic. I thought I was not going to be able to have surgery. It would saved a phone call to the office.

I felt confidently in Dr. Chalmers surgical skills. Most importantly, his team (PA’s, Admin, anesthesia) reinforced my confidence & allayed any concerns I may have had. INCREDIBLY responsive, respectful & competent. Felt like I was their only patient.

Dr. Chalmers was excellent in every way. He explained my condition in terms I could understand he showed me what was going on in my body in my complex situation. He needed to get more information through an MRI. He left me feeling comfortable that he’s going to be a valued partner with me along my journey.

The overall visit from the minute i walked in the door to x-ray receptionist to x-ray tech, to Dr. Chalmers nurse, to Dr. Chalmer's PA, and with Dr. Chalmers himself....i was so impressed with the kindness and professionalism throughout my visit. Even with the representative who scheduled my pre-op visit...so kind and knowledgeable. Thank you HSS...as a 1st time patient you made my visit very comfortable and has instilled the trust in me that i am definitely in the right place for my total knee replacement REVISION. Thank you!!

VERY PLEASANT AND NEVER MADE ME FEEL AS THOUGH THEY WERE IN A RUSH TO GET

My recovery from surgery was exceptional. I have had no pain. I don't feel any difference between my left and right hip. Today, I can walk without a limp and a cane; however, I use it anyway so that I don't put too much stress on the operated left hip.

Dr. Chalmers and his entire staff from the first appointment to scheduling have been incredibly helpful. There were several times I felt the need to message Dr. Chalmers with what were probably minor issues. He got back to me each time in less than two to three hours.

THis is an unusual circumstance, as I am switching surgeons at the last minute due to my surgeon's having to have surgery. The staff and the surgeon were particularly sympathetic in light of this last minute switch. It's reassuring.

My experience with Dr. Chalmers was excellent. I was seen earlier than expected and my wait time was minimal. Dr. Chalmers took his time with me, went over my x-ray films, and explained my condition and his treatment plan.
