I have been a patient oh HSS since 2005. I have had 2 knee replacements and two revisions of the right knee. In addition I have had 2 hip replacements. I wouldn't keep returning to HSS (1st in NYC and later in Stamford) if I had not been pleased with all aspects of my care. Thanks

Ashley and dr CK were in NY (luckily) ... i couldn't have seen them if they were in Stamford so the fact that they called back so quickly and squeezed me in was amazing. They are great. I appreciate the one on one feeling of safety and care.

Dr. Kahlenberg is professional and treats patients with courtesy. I was surprised that there was no physical exam covered during my visit to assess my progress, only an analysis of the x-ray. Dr. Kahlenberg answered my questions, but did not really seem empathetic to my concerns.

We choose a surgeon that we can trust to provide an understanding of the surgery ahead of time and a great outcome after surgery. Courtesy is key as well. Friendliness matters, but is a distance 3rd in the qualities we look for in a surgeon. Dr. Kahlenberg has all 3. She's an excellent surgeon and was courteous and friendly each time I spoke with her. Couldn't have asked for better.

I appreciate that Dr. Kahlenberg is confident but not arrogant. She is no-nonsense, which I appreciate and respect enormously. I was not looking for someone to hold my hand. Nor was I looking for someone to talk down to me. I wanted a confident, skilled professional. That is exactly what I got. I am so thankful to Dr. Kahlenberg.
