The entire experience, beginning with check in on the main floor, to X-ray to seeing my provider was flawless. In a quality hospital I expect that of the provider but it extended to the entire support staff as well.

I am from Boston and after many tries and angles to get into my doctor to evaluate my knee for a replacement due to a recent change it is support- I decided to call Dr Westrich who did my hip replacement a little ivermectin a yr ago- my Dr in Boston could get me in to be seen in June- however when I called Dr Westrich’s office they could see me in less than a week- The receptionist was nice and accommodating and Dr Westrich spent about 45 minutes discussing my options- Just amazing- that’s who I want do g my knee replacement!!!

I didn’t feel rushed. He took his time examining me & observing how I stood up & walked. He demonstrated how I should move & had me practice. He answered all my questions thoroughly. Very calm & upbeat & professional

Dr. Westrich grasped my situation quickly. He asked appropriate questions and gained my trust by connecting the important points and stated his opinion of what I needed clearly. I am grateful to have been able to get a consult appointment online with him and now I have a surgery date. Denise presented the facts clearly and the information I took home was what I needed. After spending 18 months with another Ortho group in Albany and getting nowhere, this experience was very much appreciated.

After more orthopedic procedures than I care to count (yes, Mom, the marathons probably weren’t necessary), I thought I knew the drill. I’ve had a knee replacement before. I understand the process. And yet — the stress still creeps in. After a thorough eval by the illustrious Dr. Westrich, you speak with Denise ...the "Best Kept Secret".
From the first conversation, you feel like you’re being guided by a very competent family member — the kind who has done this a hundred times and isn’t rattled by anything. She walks you through every next step once the surgery date is set. What to expect. What not to overthink. Honestly, it's a bit like listening to your mom - well informed, compassionate and making sure you're prepared and confident.
So yes, there's pre-surgery nerves. Don't feel left out in this review Dr. Westrich. You are a first class Mensch and a surgeon of the highest caliber. So let's slap in the new knee and NYC Marathon, I'll see you soon
