Whenn I wanted to just lay back and sleep; the nurses and PT staff encouraged me to moe and understand that while surgery took a few hours; recovery required that I be a full partner in recovery. . They were supportive, but also encouraging me to start moving and taking my responsibility in recovering. That was important!

The entire experience, beginning with check in on the main floor, to X-ray to seeing my provider was flawless. In a quality hospital I expect that of the provider but it extended to the entire support staff as well.

I am from Boston and after many tries and angles to get into my doctor to evaluate my knee for a replacement due to a recent change it is support- I decided to call Dr Westrich who did my hip replacement a little ivermectin a yr ago- my Dr in Boston could get me in to be seen in June- however when I called Dr Westrich’s office they could see me in less than a week- The receptionist was nice and accommodating and Dr Westrich spent about 45 minutes discussing my options- Just amazing- that’s who I want do g my knee replacement!!!

I didn’t feel rushed. He took his time examining me & observing how I stood up & walked. He demonstrated how I should move & had me practice. He answered all my questions thoroughly. Very calm & upbeat & professional

Dr. Westrich is my hero. So far I've had 15 years of adventures with this hip. He's an amazing human and HSS should be very very thankful to have him. I know I am.
