Dr. Westrich and his entire staff were incredible! They were referred to me by a family friend and I cannot be more pleased with my entire experience. Dr. Westrich grasped my situation quickly. He asked appropriate questions and gained my trust by connecting the important points and stated his opinion of what I needed clearly. I am grateful to have been able to get a consult appointment online with him and now I have a surgery date. Denise presented the facts clearly and the information I took home was what I needed. After spending 18 months with another Ortho group in Albany and getting nowhere, this experience was very much appreciated.

Dr. Westrich's Best Kept Secret After more orthopedic procedures than I care to count (yes, Mom, the marathons probably weren’t necessary), I thought I knew the drill. I’ve had a knee replacement before. I understand the process. And yet — the stress still creeps in. After a thorough eval by the illustrious Dr. Westrich, you speak with Denise ...the "Best Kept Secret". From the first conversation, you feel like you’re being guided by a very competent family member — the kind who has done this a hundred times and isn’t rattled by anything. She walks you through every next step once the surgery date is set. What to expect. What not to overthink. Honestly, it's a bit like listening to your mom - well informed, compassionate and making sure you're prepared and confident. So yes, there's pre-surgery nerves. Don't feel left out in this review Dr. Westrich. You are a first class Mensch and a surgeon of the highest caliber. So let's slap in the new knee and NYC Marathon, I'll see you soon

Outside of my ailing knee which lead me to HSS for care my overall experience from arrival through departure was wonderful. Staff members helpful, respectful and supportive My doctor abd his team explained my diagnosis and next steps in a manner that highlighted their knowledge and care for himans.

Dr. Westrich is the standard for surgical excellence. The revision he was prompted to do because of Exactech’s negligence was performed with an excellence that exceeded my expectations. Friends who have had similar TKR revisions have experienced all kinds of issues. I have been pain free. I look forward to Dr W. taking care of the arthritis in my right leg in the near future and I have no concerns that it will match my previous experience and, all kidding aside, he’ll get the length to match the left! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️(⭐️)!

Dr Westrich does amazing work! He replaced my right knee, and then, two years later, my left hip! I recovered quickly from both and I’m dancing 3 hours a week and do Pilates!!!

Staff was courteous and caring. The doctor explained my situation thoroughly and in language understandable to me and he answered my concerns straight on.

I had confidence in him from the first moment I met him. When he examined my knee at our first visit, he felt the tendons and ligaments to assess them. I was very impressed with his care and attention to details. In the last year I was diagnosed with a low immune system. I have been treated with infusions to bring my immunity up. Dr. Westrich planned that I would remain In hospital overnight just to be sure everything would be ok.
