I would not trust anyone other than Dr. Mayman with my health concerns. He has always taken the time to listen to my concerns and to put my mind at ease with the proper treatment.

I truly appreciated how professional and attentive Dr. David Mayman, his PA (Richard), his medical secretary (Elizabeth), were throughout our conversation. They all took the time to listen carefully to all my concerns explained everything in a clear, reassuring way. Answered my questions and made sure I understood what to expect for my upcoming surgery. This meant a great deal to me. Scheduling all the needed appointments was seamless too. This shows care and dedication.

Dr. Mayman was excellent! He was thorough in describing the procedure beforehand, then explaining the outcome and follow-up. He has now done both of my knee replacements and I have total confidence in his skill and expertise.

Dr. Mayman makes a patient feel well informed and confident in the opportunity for a positive outcome. He is professional, knowledgable and clearly on the cutting edge of varied knee therapies. He is also very human and treats his patients as respected adults whose outcome he is truly invested in. I have recommended HSS to a great many friends and collegues because of my experiences with Dr. Mayman along with his office staff (Heather, Brian, Semona and PA/Nurse Krissa??) throughout my surgeries, both left (2025) and right (2026).

Dr. Mayman is a wonderful surgeon. He is very knowledgeable and professional yet personal and has a very warm way about him. He replaced my left hip 4.5 years ago and I was up and dancing at a wedding literally 21 days after that surgery. My healing from this surgery is a little more difficult I think because I was in worse shape than the last hip. I am healing nicely though.
