The whole team, from the surgeon right along, was excellent. The group cared for me well, and listened and answered all my questions. I never once felt sidelined or isolated.
As for the next question: I met the anesthesiologist once, but was asleep under his care the rest of the time, so I can only assume that it was a good experience.

I cannot speak highly enough about Dr. Mayman. He explained exactly what he was going to do and as far as I know, did what he planned. I am two weeks post surgery and recovering without much pain, I am sure due to his skill.

Dr. Mayman took care of my mother several years ago- she was a very complicated case with multiple re-ops in her life. I trust his surgical judgment and skills implicitly. And he has a lovely bedside manner, which is a plus. He took his time in consultation and never made me feel rushed. He and his PA Brian are an exceptional team.
