Dr. Mayman took care of my mother several years ago- she was a very complicated case with multiple re-ops in her life. I trust his surgical judgment and skills implicitly. And he has a lovely bedside manner, which is a plus. He took his time in consultation and never made me feel rushed. He and his PA Brian are an exceptional team.

I would not trust anyone other than Dr. Mayman with my health concerns. He has always taken the time to listen to my concerns and to put my mind at ease with the proper treatment.

I have been to plenty of healthcare facilities and HSS is a cut above. It is worth the trip into the city. I felt everyone took pride in what they were doing from the coffee shop to the admin and doctors.

I truly appreciated how professional and attentive Dr. David Mayman, his PA (Richard), his medical secretary (Elizabeth), were throughout our conversation. They all took the time to listen carefully to all my concerns explained everything in a clear, reassuring way. Answered my questions and made sure I understood what to expect for my upcoming surgery. This meant a great deal to me. Scheduling all the needed appointments was seamless too. This shows care and dedication.

There Is not enough space to describe the respect I have for Dr.Mayman. This is the second surgery he has performed on me and I expect to be going back to him next year for a knee replacement. He and his team are surely a credit to HSS. They provide service above and beyond expectations, and truly represent the gold standard in medical care.

Dr. Mayman was excellent! He was thorough in describing the procedure beforehand, then explaining the outcome and follow-up. He has now done both of my knee replacements and I have total confidence in his skill and expertise.
