Dr. Gwo-Chin Lee and the entire team at HSS exceeded my expectations. Dr. Lee is an outstanding surgeon—knowledgeable, compassionate, and genuinely committed to providing the highest level of care. He took the time to answer my questions and made me feel confident throughout the process.
The staff was equally exceptional: professional, friendly, organized, and attentive from my first visit through my follow-up care. Every interaction reflected the high standards that HSS is known for.
Overall, I had an excellent experience and would highly recommend Dr. Lee and Hospital for Special Surgery to anyone seeking outstanding orthopedic care.

HSS staff has exceeded expectations from the doctors to the office staff. Everyone has treated me with compassion and professionalism. They took time to answer questions and make me feel that I am not a nuisance. I am grateful to speak with a human and not an AI impersonator!
I can see why HSS is ranked #1 in orthopedics and I am looking forward, (well as much as one can), to having my surgery there.

I was looking for a solution to the situation I’ve been dealing with since my total hip replacement of September 2020 at HSS NY main campus but still have the same problem. Due to my hip issue I fell last week on my right hip, sternum and ribs.

I was put right at ease and felt like we were old friends within seconds of our first meeting. Within half a minute I knew he was the right person for the job and never had a second thought. Next year, I want to bike with him on HSS Bike.

Dr Lee, and the staff exceed all expectations. The nurse Ashley is so responsible ve, and helpful with any questions. Dr Lee was s uplifting front, encouraging, and a brilliant surgeon. This s is my 3rd replacement. I’m 85, and just had L hip replaced. Dr [ ] my other two over 15 years ago. I am so grateful for HSS, my surgeons, your attentions Venessa, and outcomes for existing abilities to ambulate, and staying independent because they HSS.
