I was expecting to meet the doctor that was going to operate but instead I met with his physicians assistant who was very nice but failed to answer all my questions or provide me with more details which were left hanging.

This was my first time seeing Dr. Shah and I can honestly say he was the best. He explained so clearly everything that was going and the surgery that would be needed. He had the best bedside manner and took his time talking with us,

It was not the visit, that was fine. However the doctortor's order of an MRI of my right ankle has been not followed. I have received several contacts for UAB that indicate my MRI is for my left knee or left ankle. I have emailed via the portal and talked w/ somoni in the clinic to correct and I'm still getting a portal massage saying this Friday's MRI is for my Left Knee.
I'm frustrated by the lack of communication on UAB's end.

everyone is so helpful and they listen to you and help you out and I I really like my doctors cause I listen to me if I have a problem on thing I got to do is pick the phone up and call. I really appreciate them a lot.

Called to speak with dr the day after stitches because still bleeding, asked for dr to call, I called at 8:03 am, was told dr would call me back. Never heard back from him or anyone. This dropped my opinion of UAB highland big time.

Dr Mabry is great! His staff however seem lazy. They do not answer portal messages or phone calls.

The wait was long before we got to see the doctor but we were very impressed with the doctor when we did get to see him. We will certainly go to him if we need to.

The doctor explained what he thought my problem is, gave me a treatment plan, and discussed a follow-up plan. This was done in a timely manner.

I'm always called in a timely manner after arriving at the clinic, staff is very well knowledgeable and commendable the clinic is always exceptionally clean I Love It wouldn't rather be anywhere else.
