My appointment was at 10.20AM and I didn't see the doctor until 11.30AM. While talking to my surgeon a nurse knocked on the door and told my surgeon/doctor that he has a phone call. The surgeons/doctors seem to be using this tactic, when they don't want to continue talking to the patient any longer; in my case it's questions related to a failed back and neck surgeries. This happened to me 4 times before, with this surgeon/doctor.

I had to wait in the examination room for one HOUR. When the doctor did arrive, The doctor was very rushed, preoccupied, and in a hurry. Did not take time for me to ask questions? Which is very unusual for him. I am just worried I did not get the complete care that I should have.

Staff was extremely friendly and well organized. Space was clean and well equipped. Providers all explained everything very thoroughly and in a partnerial fashion. Great visit! If parking were easier I’d give it a 10.

The doctors were explaining everything before they did it so we could understand what was going on. All the nurses were so sweet and took such good care of my son. This was our first time at this hospital but I would recommend it to anyone!

I feel very comfortable and safe at the UAB Hospital and doctor's office. Every staff is professional and kind, helpful and friendly. My husband and I love Dr. Rajaram and his staff! I would recommend my doctor and the hospital to everyone!

My knee surgery was scheduled at 7 am , I was to be there at 5 am .
Registration process was done and with in no time I was called by the pre op staff and they prepared me for surgery

I came in as a Trama patient because of a car accident! Severe trama to. My right ankle! Dr Michael Johnson was my doctor ! Thru several surgeries and rehabs I am now able to walk without the use of a cane or anything! I have no pain!!! NO PAIN! Limited swelling! Every aspect of this experience at UAB orthopedic Clinic was done thru very professional means! Dr Johnson ( whom I give praise to) Dr assistants! Nurses! Clinical employees were ALL exceptional people! I never met one person there that was not of the best attitude and professionalism To me! For that…. I am sooo grateful!!! I would like to Thank Dr Michael Johnson, his complete staff , at Highlands orthopedic Medical Clinic UAB for giving me my life back! God Bless!!!!
