Check in was quick and easy. Called back to see Dr almost immediately. Dr explained what needed to be done. We agreed on a date to do the surgery, then the nurse came in and talked with me.

My visit was great! Dr. Cravens was very knowledgeable about my problem. Examined me with care. Questions about other things that were happenin making sure if they were part of the problem. Made the referral needed. Made sure I understood what was said and shared with Caregiver things to do that would help me. Tests were explained well. I really enjoyed seeing her.

Quick and easy sign in process. Called to the back almost immediately for imaging. ALL staff members were friendly. The doctor was great and quickly addressed my health issues.

I am tremendously satisfied with the Highlands location of UAB Orthopedics. They were prompt on getting me back for X-rays and to a room. I have sat for an hour and more at times at the Gardendale location. 10 thumbs up for Dr Theiss and the Heighlands Orthopedic group.

Everything ran like clockwork. I think mine was the first operation of the day and perhaps that made a difference. I arrived at 5am and picked up my post op meds on the way home at 10am. Much quicker than I expected!

I had a wonderful experience. My pre-op nurse was Tina ( ) (I think that was her last name but maybe not) anyways, she was absolutely wonderful!!! My PACU recovery nurse was also amazing!! So thank you to both of them!

I spent 2 hours past my appointment time waiting to see the doctor. Once he arrived, he was very friendly and took his time explaining the upcoming procedure and answered all of my questions.

Kristen Cravens was great - listened, provided clear interpretation of X-Ray and determined the left hip bursa steroid shot would help with current pain, even though the hip joint itself is bone-on-bone - that wasn't where the pain emanated from. Will follow up as prescribed, waiting for PT call next.
