Everything ran like clockwork. I think mine was the first operation of the day and perhaps that made a difference. I arrived at 5am and picked up my post op meds on the way home at 10am. Much quicker than I expected!

Very short wait time, they got me in the back to get x-rays in less than 5 minutes. Everyone was very respectful and gave me clear information regarding my condition. The dr had a good bedside manner, he left the option open if I wanted to do the procedure.

Enjoyed meeting Dr Shah. Emily was great and so was the woman from Spine (she was filling in for Brandon). Dr. Shah explained everything and I didn’t feel rushed at all. He told me about my anatomy as well as what he was going to do.

There was very little wait for x-rays or to see the doctor. All the staff was extremely friendly. Dr. Shah was very helpful and informative in explaining my probable problem.

I have had my share of surgeries at many different facilities and I would like to say this was the best pre-op surgery and post op care I have been given. I was constantly looked after through everything. Thank you to everyone who stayed with me.

Whomever is the representative name “Jasmine”, I would love to give her her props. I wouldn’t be able to visit UAB orthopedic without her. She really helped me over the phone when I was stressing out about an orthopedic appointment. I pay out of pocket and she explained to me what I can do and how I can do it. Other places were not helpful at all and seemed as if they didn’t want to help me. It starts with customer service and Jasmine has that down to the tea. Also, the nurses were amazing, everybody was super nice and took care of me.

Dr. Shah was very nice and his assistant was very thorough. It was very informative. I would recommend Dr. Shah he explains thoroughly what is going on with your ankle and foot. It was a pleasant experience.

Everyone was so kind and very accommodating. I felt very comfortable with Dr. Shah. He explained everything to me gave me my options and I chose the option that was best for me. I kind of felt like family just being in the room with him he was very sweet very kind and explain things that a commoner like me could understand. I will definitely be suggesting to anyone I know to go to him.

Dr. Shah & Dr. [last name] both were very thorough and competent. The X-ray techs and other staff that attended to me were very professional and pleasant. I got clear direction on what to do about my condition and a follow up by phone scheduled for August to see whether my condition is improving.
