I am extremely satisfied with my surgical outcome. However, communication and scheduling has been a mixed bag. I've seen different providers at most every encounter. My appointments have been rescheduled including a call to reschedule my latest appointment while I was traveling (from two hours drive away) and was almost to Highlands. I understand UAB is a large teaching hospital that serves many patients, but the personal touches including communication could be better.
