Checked in late because we got lost in the building. The front desk clerk was so nice and helpful. The assistant that took my vitals was very friendly and made me laugh to get me to relax. P A Deboef listened to my concerns and was not dismissive about my situation. Looking forward to working with her

Dr. [last name] and his entire team did a great job. The 5/5 surgery went exactly as he predicted and I quickly recovered in about a week. Just met with the PA on 5/22 for a post op visit and everything looks good. Minimal pain and I’m totally off the medications prescribed.
And in my overnight stay in the hospital I received excellent care and met with a variety of specialists with tips on how to recover quickly.

Dr Shaw was thoroughly outstanding, he explained everything in detail, and in a manner I could understand. He answered all my questions in a relaxed and professional setting. Erica was very helpful in explaining things that we needed to accomplish prior to surgery. My initial contact was with Michelle and she was great and patient. I had scheduling conflict that I needed to resolve prior to making the appointment with Dr Shaw. While I was doing that, she kept me up to date.
My overall experience with Lyerly is top notch.

The doctors and assistants listen to you and suggest what they can do. Show you the x-rays and explained about them. They all were very nice.

The staff is exceptional! They are very helpful with pre and post surgery scheduling and keep patient informed. Dr. [last name] has fused my back and most recently performed 2 level adcf in both cases made me feel comfortable about outcomes and educated me on exactly why and how things would be done. Danielle took over managing and educating all things after surgery reviewed my results and med management and any rehab if needed. I really love the team

I have been a patient of Dr Sauvageau's since November of 2020. His bedside manner, kindness, thoroughness, and ability to never miss with a suggestion make him invaluable for me as a person with many complex diagnoses and life a whole lot less scary.

All the people are nice and take good care of you. The Dr explained the issues with my back and what he would do to correct the issues. He set expectations of the surgery and the recovery time. I had to stay in the hospital longer than I was told but they took good care of me.

I was in so much pain. I couldn’t take care of myself and used a wheelchair to get around because I could barely walk. After my MRI in March they found multiple abscesses in my back that was causing my pain. When I got out of surgery the pain was gone. They kept me updated with everything that was going on. I had a great experience and I’m pain free.

I would highly recommend Lyerly Neurosurgery to anyone in need of neurological care. From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, friendly, and very polite. The waiting time was short, which made the visit much less stressful, and the office was exceptionally clean and well organized. Overall, I had a very positive experience and truly appreciated the professionalism and kindness shown by everyone there.
