The staff and surgeon were friendly and very professional.
My consult with Dr. Shaw was not rushed, he answered every question and explained the procedure in detail and depth to me.
Erica, the MA was absolutely delightful. She also answered my questions kindly and professionally.

Scheduling was flexible, the greeting at front desk was professional and warm. Dr. Shaw and his assistant have been thorough and very pleasant throughout my process. Dr Shaw did my first surgery a few years ago, scar healed very well and wouldn’t see another Neurosurgeon!

Also, the office staff are very kind, caring, and professional. Wonderful people. They set the bar very high for other doctor offices.

The nurses are very nice and helpful, for both Dr. Shaw and Dr. [last name]. Front desk staff is very friendly too at both the Baptist south and downtown locations. Additionally, both of these neurosurgeons Dr. Shaw and Dr. [last name] are very friendly and knowledgeable, and make sure they explain everything very well. I am getting ready to get surgery from both of them together, and they both made me feel very comfortable with them doing the procedure!

Dr Shaw was thoroughly outstanding, he explained everything in detail, and in a manner I could understand. He answered all my questions in a relaxed and professional setting. Erica was very helpful in explaining things that we needed to accomplish prior to surgery. My initial contact was with Michelle and she was great and patient. I had scheduling conflict that I needed to resolve prior to making the appointment with Dr Shaw. While I was doing that, she kept me up to date.
My overall experience with Lyerly is top notch.
