The Lyerly staff is pleasant, accommodating, respectful, cordial, and appear to be pleased with their work/job, and their attitudes & willingness to help & answer any questions are positive.

Dr. Shaw did spinal surgery on my son who had been suffering for two years. It was a life changing event for him. He is back to working and living a productive life again. Can’t put into words how thankful we are ! I am looking at a less invasive surgery and I wouldn’t think of going to anyone else. Erica assisted me with scheduling and was very personable and informative with my insurance questions, she went above and beyond my expectations..

Dr. Shaw was fantastic with my 18 year old daughter. He took a lot of time to discuss her diagnosis and did a great job explaining how to read the MRI so we could actually what is going on. I am so glad we are now an established patient should my daughter need surgery. He is awesome!

I was in so much pain. The office got me an appointment fast and they scheduled my surgery not long after that. I was so very thankful! The surgery check in and pre/post op went very smooth and everyone was very nice and kind. Dr. Shaw and his team did an amazing job on my ACDF surgery! My recovery has been great and most importantly, I'm not in pain!!! Thank you to everyone at Lyerly!

The team was very professional and courteous. We did not have to wait long. The doctor was extremely knowledgeable. We discuss several treatment options in detail, including all the pros and cons associated with them. I was very impressed with the assessment of my physical capabilities and how these were tied to my condition and the various treatment options. Overall, I was very impressed.

I felt complete confidence with Dr. Shaw after I left after the visit. Obviously highly knowledgeable. He didn’t just rely on MRI. But probed for history. Did manual checks of gait and all extremities. Very clear on the options of surgery and what would happen. Looked me in the eyes and listened. I feel like I’m in good hands.

Scheduling is easy , as is is with every department of the hospital I've had the need to deal with. Font end staff are nice and helpful Dr Andrew Shaw Is just a wonderful person to talk with, and he carefully ,explains the diagnosis, and surgical remedies, the process and expected outcomes, potential short or long term complications that may occur. He is concise and very willing to answer all of my questions without hesitation. I would highly recommend Baptish Health / Lyerly/ for neuro surgery.

Dr Shaw did an excellent job relieving the excruciating pain in my right leg. I can now walk for the first time in weeks. The nurses in pre op,OR, and recovery were exceptional. The anesthesiologist did a marvelous job and I woke up following surgery bright eyed and bushy tailed. Thank you to everyone involved with my surgery to my spine.
