Kara at Lyerly is so very helpful and compassionate. She has been quick to acknowledge the pain that I have been in with my compression fractures and has reassured me during each appointment. Kara has answered all of my questions and the questions my family members have had expertly and in terms that are really easy to understand. I am really thankful to be in her care and truly appreciate her.

I had my 1st back surgery, lamenectomy, with the Lyerly group in the 80’s with Dr. [full name], a 10+ surgeon. Then again in 2018 with Dr. [last name], a 10+ surgeon. I have great regard for the Lyerly Group and would not use any other practice. I have referred many to the practice over the years with great confidence in the doctors expertise and skills. The staff has always been what a good staff should be. Kara saw my husband 10/21 and we felt she was very thorough and very kind to my husband in all his stories and questions, as well as mine. She is also a 10+ and we will meet Dr [last name] on Monday for consultation and expect nothing less.

I arrived over an hour early for my appointment, and there were no issues. I was informed there might be a wait but that they’d call me back early if they could. They did, and I saw the nurse, who gave my case their full time and attention. Kudos to Tera and Kara Shaffer. Both very professional.

Kara has been the person working with us. She is absolutely fantastic! She treats me and my family with kindness as well professionalism. She takes time to answer our questions and has given me exceptional advice. Kara has followed up with everything my case has thrown at me and done so in a timely fashion. The PA or NP was excellent. She listened to my issues and started testing to resolve my chronic pain. She was very friendly and very decisive. I would recognize her and of course Dr [last name] to everyone I know. Great staff as well.

My visit was with an ARPN. She was thorough and very clear in letting me know what was going on in my lower back. I really liked that my MRI was displayed on a large screen and discussed. I was given instructions to get X-rays done to rule out surgery and to follow up with pain management. I have hope this will be a solution. I felt validated for all the pain I have had in my lower back.

Kara is just wonderful. I was given so much misinformation by [last name]. She pulled my MRI and showed me what was going on with my back in great detail. She answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns. She recommended I look into ablation (sp). She is so compassionate and I never felt rushed. She even stopped eating her lunch to send the order for my xrays. I would say she is the best nurse I heve ever had. Definitely a. keeper!

Staff is friendly, check in process was the easiest I’ve ever had, the ability to access my PMH from other providers and seamlessly integrate it into my chart is amazing. I loved the screen where I could see my medication list and easily identify the meds that are current, need changed, or archived. The CMA and PA that I saw were both very attentive, didn’t rush, and made me feel valued and heard. I was checked in quickly, taken back quickly, and seen quickly.
