It was the first time that my spine problem was truly explained to me in words and pictures on the computer. Instead of just saying that I am just getting old, now I know exactly what is causing my endless pain and now I know that I may have some options to make my condition somewhat less painful. The PA is a great asset to your group. I am so grateful to her. Thank you 😊

Friendly and helpful front office personnel...on time appointment w/the doctor ( actually, got in a little earlier than the appointment time)...outstanding nurse practitioner ( correct title ?) that took her time explaining and showing me on the monitors, the results of my MRI. In fact, her explanations and answering of my questions were so thorough that I told her I did not need to discuss w/the surgeon. I do not have a serious condition and what we discussed put me at ease and allowed me to develop a plan of caution and exercise to alleviate my back pain while strengthening my body to aid in further injury protection. Very comprehensive and helpful discussion ! A real win-win for the doctor/patient relationship ! Very impressed !

It was my first visit. The receptionist was on her game. She was knowledgeable and so polite. The MA was making too. I am terrible with names but the APRN I saw looked at my MRI the night before. She caught things that the tech who read it did not catch. I feel safe in their hands!

Dr. [last name] is great. Kara was great last week. Everyone at Lylerly has been very helpful, especially the person who got me in to be seen by Kara on 3/30/26. I cannot remember her name right now.

From the checking process through the nurses are very kind and professional. I visited with the P.A. Kara and she was very nice and friendly. She reviewed my information and determined that I needed an updated MRI. She reviewed the information the doctor had discussed with me prior. Now I just need to determine if I will have the surgery soon or later. Overall I would highly recommend the professionalism and understanding I received from Dr. [last name]’s staff. They were great!

I was able to get an appointment approximately one week after being referred. I had no wait time when I arrived. The P.A., Kara, who met with me pulled up my recent MRI results and very thoroughly explained what it showed in language that was clear to me. I learned things about my back that had never been explained to me before. She took her time and answer all of my questions. The neurosurgeon who was assigned my case is very highly rated and has a lot of experience performing the procedure that I'llbe having.

The thing I liked best was APRN K. Shaffer was able to answer questions for me for my back that finally put me at ease and peace. I have been going to specialist after specialist because I couldn't understand why with the pain I've been going through that they wouldn't do surgery on me. Ms. Shaffer explained everything to me in a way that I could understand. She took plenty of time to makesure that I had all the answers I needed. I'm very grateful to her.
