David Hartfiel, M.D.
He showed up 40 minutes late to my appointment and neither he nor the nurse bothered to introduce themselves. When my husband asked his name, he responded with a snide remark about how it was “written everywhere” and that we should already know it—despite this being our first visit. He dismissed my concerns outright, and when I requested labs, he responded with, “That’s not how this works.” He then tried to pressure me into signing a contract to “make sure I was a good fit for them,” when in reality, I am the one deciding whether they’re a good fit to care for me and my baby.I left feeling unwelcome, unheard, and completely disregarded. I would not trust this physician with my care or my child’s. I do not recommend this practice to any future moms.

Shaelyn was kind, professional and focused on my care. The office was excellent and would recommend to anyone. The check in staff were warm and friendly, and the nurse was very caring. Great office!

I have been a patient of this office for about two years. I have had some medical issues that have required follow up appointments, Justine has been excellent. She takes time with her patients, she makes sure that you are comfortable before doing anything, and that you are fully understanding all of your treatment options. Transferring to this office has been a great move for me.

I'm so glad that Dr. Hill is in Alpena. We're lucky to have her! She's down to earth, easy to talk to, and I know I'm in good hands under her care. She delivered my second baby and we couldn't be happier with the experience.

I would tell anyone that listens how amazing Dr Justine Morris was for my appointment. She listened to every concern I had and explained everything so well, immediately started a plan for how to move forward and ordered the testing/scans that I need.

I feel that Dr. Wagner is very intelligent and knows what he is doing with a great level of confidence which is reassuring to me as the patient. I also feel that he genuinely tries to review your file before you are seen and has a great memory! I also appreciate his staff. The nurses aid DDS and front desk, always are courteous and joyful when I arrive. I have trust in him. I have known him for over 25 years, as he delivered my first child back in [YEAR] I was a patient of him for my second child which was [YEAR].

Dr Wagner himself was great and so was the nurse Abby. I feel like they drop the ball on things a lot. It is very unorganized and I did not feel very well taken care of by office staff itself with follow up for test results and appointments. It sucks going to an office that treats patients like a number. I would 10/10 recommend Dr wagner and Abby but u fortunate they are in the setting they are. They were both very helpful, compassionate, understanding and they take the time to explain things.

Was genuinely one of the best appointments I have ever had, Anna was so thorough and honest with the questions I had and made me feel incredibly comfortable and confident to ask questions and answered them in a way that felt like I was truly listened too. Extremely welcoming upon entering the room overall a great experience

This doctor and staff are amazing people! They have helped me get through a tough time in my life with my body deciding to move on into menopause! I was given a lot of reading materials and goals to work on in my first visit and by my second visit I was relieved by the fact that I was able to get on something that will help me with menopause symptoms! I would say that Dr. McKenney is very good at what she does. She's very thorough and explains everything very well. I would definitely recommend her and would go back to her for surgery if I ever need to.
