This was the best pregnancy and postpartum experience I had. This time was way better than my first! I appreciate everyone at that office! Thank you for giving me the best experience and caring for me!

Dr Hartfiel is a great Doctor that makes you feel comfortable and respected. He listens to what you say and explains everything in terms I can understand. I will recommended him as a gift OBGYN to have for your DR.

I would recommend Dr. Hartfield as he is kind and his office runs very smooth. The ladies at the front desk are nice and welcoming. The office is very clean and is conveniently located attached to the hospital.

What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
The entire staff is fantastic. I've struggled with these kinds of appointments since a sexual assault 14 years ago- this office is the first since then to make me feel safe, heard, considered. Dr. Hartfiel respects my autonomy and we make decisions TOGETHER. He listens, gives me information, and his medical opinion, but ultimately I get to choose which direction we go with my health care.

Until Dr. Hartfield I have never had a good experience with an OB and I have 6 kids. He is the first OB that had made me felt seem, heard, respected. He and his entire staff have treated me with dignity. As a S.A. survivor it's a huge deal for me to say that I felt safe and my autonomy has been respected. I wish I had a doctor and nurses like this when I was having babies- my experiences and current situation would have been much different. This office as a whole is the epitome of what women's health care should look like. This should be the standard.

I always felt comfortable and was kept well informed about my procedures, possible outcomes, and potential treatments. I thank all involved with my experience.

He listened to my concerns and then answered in such a way it was easy to understand as he spoke to me with compassion instead of the egotistical response that unfortunately many male doctors tend to have towards women patients.
What could have been done to improve your experience?
I understand why you have patients come in 30 min before their appointment for new patient paperwork, but when the patient actually has the paperwork completed at arrival then they should not be expected to wait the full 30 minutes in the waiting room.

The hospital experience that I have had with the doctor on call when I went in to the er was one of the worst experiences I have ever had the date was 4/26/24 I would prefer to only deal with people from his office only and they need to know exactly what is going on with each person individually

The visit exceeded my expectations! I was very anxious at the beginning of my appointment and I never felt criticized for that at all. In fact, it was the opposite- I was met with patience and understanding of my anxiety. Dr Hartfiel and the nurse were so kind and compassionate. They never made me feel rushed or pressured. I will definitely continue to see Dr. Hartfiel

The nurse, Cindy, was outstanding. She was incredibly sweet and caring. The only reason why I won’t rate the overall experience as terrible. The doctor, however, made this the worst visit I’ve ever had. I cannot rate him low enough.

Better timing for appointment BUT I was filling in for someone else...meaning I got in 6 weeks earlier so so so happy they called 💓 me

Listen to the patient instead of jumping to conclusions. Sometimes he needs to trust what the patient is feeling rather than assuming we are idiots. As a very well educated person with a medical license, it’s a shame he doesn’t take the time to get to know anyone.
