It was the vary 1st time going, because I a was a new patient it took a brief minute to get in, but Dr was amazing to talk too. She had looked over my chart clearly before she came in to see. I was very impressed

I absolutely adore Dr Schmidt, I followed her from Women’s OB-GYN and now drive an hour, each way, to have her as my doctor. I always felt seen, listened to, and heard. She never makes me feel stupid for asking questions or voicing concerns. She doesn’t rush me or brush me off.

Dr. Schmidt is so nice and really listens to me and my concerns. She is connected on the MyMichigan health portal so she would be able to talk with my other doctors and provide them with any medical reports they would need. I really like that she is able to tell me what she will be doing next as part of my exam. She also apologized for being late with my last appointment.

All of the staff were friendly and respectful to me throughout. This is particularly meaningful to me as a transgender person. Dr. Schmidt in particular was knowledgeable about my concerns and explained things to me in understandable, inclusive language. I would recommend this practice to my trans friends.

You can tell she loves her job, and her patients! She took extra time to make sure my husband and I both understood what was going on with my ovary. Her knowledge and ability to explain things in a way we could understand was refreshing! I highly recommend her and MyMich staff and facility in Mt. Pleasant, MI.
