What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
This was my first visit and I wasn't sure how it would go since my original request was to see a different doctor. Marissa had an earlier appt so I took it and am very pleased and look forward to continuing with Marissa as my GYN. She was spot on with knowledge of my concerns and I know she understood and she gave clear answers and direction to me. Very pleased with the care she provided.

What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
If an older female in need of health care in “the older- golden years “, I am confident Marissa can- could be of assistance. She has, is helping me, I feel comfortable with her. Male drs. are good but sometimes, it makes all the difference, when dealing with the same sex, talking n explaining. Sometimes you can leave appt. puzzled n won what the heck just went on. Marissa— don’t leave!!!

Dr. Hill is a great doctor and is so personable, patient, knowledgeable and kind. She listens intently and offers constructive feedback. I truly cannot say enough good things about her. No woman likes to have a pelvic exam, however she’s such a great doctor and so kind I look forward to seeing her for my yearly appointment!

I would highly recommend Marissa to any female that is, was experiencing what I’m going thru. Marissa tells you in plain English and common words for anyone to understand what she is explaining to you. That is one part I like about her. Patients can understand her.

I had to have a biopsy done. The pathology report came back close to two weeks ago and she has STILL not called me with a plan!
What could have been done to improve your experience?
Maybe read the results and call the patient who is freaking out!!!!

Marissa’s attention to detail and knowledge was very helpful. I had been having troubles with my period and had been told by Planned Parenthood that my birth control would last five years my three year mark happened in November 2023. When Marissa explained that no, it’s three years. I was very happy I had gone to see her. She replaced my birth control on the spot and talked me through with exactly what she was doing, and she did an excellent job. She is very happy to help and happy to share information. I have never had an OB/GYN as amazing as her.

I a body is in need of this line of health care, I would highly recommend Dr. Marissa Hill.
She introduced me to a different life style, dealing with a health issue. It appears she is checking into up to date methods for her patients, n reports back to them. The staff she has, are warm welcoming, and nice, and smiley.

Dr. Hill is always caring and kind and gentle. Always takes the time to discuss any concerns I have. This is greatly appreciated as I’m an older patient. I always recommend her to my friends.

She brought up ideas of testing for genetics and pregnancy. Was educated and informed on up to date health research and information.
What could have been done to improve your experience?
Her bedside manner could be improved as she was engaged in conversation, but could work towards actively listening to her patients and work on how she responds not only verbally but her body language as well. When discussing health concerns, please listen more and validate the worries before reporting facts as it can appear dismissive of their concerns and worries without validation. This improvement can help consumers be more transparent on their care and worries.

This was my first time seeing Marissa Hill. She was extremely professional and courteous, She took her time to listen to my questions. Her staff was very friendly made me feel extremely comfortable. I will definitely be coming back.
