The doctor's overall manner is reassuring. I find Dr. John Vu to be professional and thorough in his evaluations. I have always left the visits fulling understanding my health situation as his explanations are made in layman's terms with clear course of treatment, be it in further testing and/or with suggestions for whole-body health. This oncologist shows he cares.

Professional caring personable staff members - from reception to nurses to the physician, Dr Pinto. I feel like they care about me and treating my condition for best results. I would recommend them to anyone. In fact, I recommended them just this morning to a friend that has been diagnosed with kidney cancer.

My visit was on time. Dr. Norkin is open to all my questions and was very attentive and prepared to address my health situation. The check out staff was also very attentive to my needs for future visit schedule. Also, every effort was made to accomodate my needs as I travel for my care.

There are a couple things that I found very personable.
The first thing that I thought was helpful was to meet with a Patient Financial person. The binder is an awesome added bonus.
The fact that the Financial advisor personally walked you to your appointment and pointed out spots of interest along the way was another gesture of caring for your patients. Joseph was a wonderful host. In addition, he promised to call me while I was waiting for my appointment to set up a Medicaid appointment. I hadn't heard from him before leaving so I stopped by the Financial area expecting to get a general, run of the mill relayed response. However, I was pleasantly surprised when the lady told me he would right out. He personally came and talked to me. Explained to me that his manager was still in a meeting and promised to call me the next day to set up an appointment. Guess what? He did call me. He followed through and did what he said he was going to do without me having to make a phone call to prompt him.
To make things even better, Dr. Dragovich was amazing and his nurse, Chiari, was exceptional as well. They made me feel like I mattered and they cared.
Fantastic experience. I hope all my future visits are as well. You've set the bar, now to maintain it.

Dr Norkin was very prepared for me when I came to this visit. He was through and very good at explaining the things he would recommend for treatment. He also ordered a blood test on visit which would tell him I what was going on I really did like him

Dealing with cancer, at any levelor stage, can be stressful. It requires keeping on top of appts., insurance, grants, nutrition, medications, labs, additional phone calls, family concerns, mental attitude to “run the long race”.
It’s Baptist/MD Anderson’s empathetic patient-centric approach to top shelf patient care that separates them from the rest.
Dr. Ian Pinto and the supporting staff are exceptional care givers and life enhancers. I am most grateful and fortunate to have found them at a critical point in my life.

Everyone was very Courteous and Polite Dr. K Brown was very kind. This was my second visit with her and she asked all the questions to make me feel like she was concerned about me. I would recommend all of my friends to visit the Oncology Department at Baptist for check ups.
