The staff has the excellent ability to listen and ask questions. I have found the care at MD Andersen to be stellar. If you need to touch base with the staff they return calls timely.

Welcoming sign in staff, always have a smile and offer to hold my “chemo ice bag” behind the desk, while I have an appointment with oncology staff. My appointment with nurse Kathleen Brown, was perfect timing for me. Nurse Kathleen’s kind and helpful personality, immediately put me at ease. I had a list of 3 concerns, an itchy rash that had started 2 days ago, which she immediately called in 2 prescriptions to my CVS Pharmacy. Then, I asked her about a side effect of my weekly infusion, and she scheduled a urine specimen test at the lab on Friday for me. Within 15 min. nurse Kathleen found solutions to my side effects from chemo! She is another example of the team of dedicated staff, who make my long treatment journey more tolerable and positive!
