My doctor was very through, actually did a physical exam of my lymph nodes!!! I appreciate that! He took the time to explain my tests, bloodwork and diagnosis. He was very thorough and explained everything regarding my diagnosis extreamly well!

Dr Norkin is very focused when spending time with his patients. You will have his complete attention. He explains results and options in detail, thoroughly answers your questions, quickly coordinates with other attending physicians, and always follows up. His support staff are always positive, cheerful and helpful as well. I can’t imagine getting better care elsewhere.

My appointment with Dr Norkin was probably my best ever dr appointments in quite some time,when talking about a dr Ive never ever seen.
From my phone call to start the process of coming to M D Anderson, to bring discharged yesterday every person has been top tier. A 1. Top 10. From the janitors,to Dr Norkin. It was as if they knew us forever.

The infusion system and care team are like well oiled machines. I’ve been a patient here for over 6 years and they have gotten the process down to a science- minimal wait time, courteous checking and above all caring and competent nurses !

I was initially diagnosed with CLL. It continued until it turned acute, at which time they started treatment. My white blood count reached 161 before it started to decline. Now several months later, it is down to 17 (with 11 being the normal high end). I fully expect it to be down in the normal 4 - 11 range in the coming months. At which time I should learn if medication (oral chemotherapy) will need to be continued to maintain the normal range.
