Everything! From the friendly reception at the clinic front desk and their prompt and efficient check-in process, to the courteous intake by Nurse Abby and her detailed explanations, to the friendly introduction and explanation by Nurse Navigator Stacy of her role to facilitate "everything", to the exceptional introductory visit with Dr. Norkin and his attentiveness and responses to all my questions, to the friendly check-out and scheduling of appointments by the office staff. In the MD Anderson world of positive, friendly, courteous and efficient care - these folks all stood out. Simply the best experience a patient could hope for!

The doctor listened to and responded to my concerns. The doctor read my chart beforehand. The doctor was very honest and straightforward. The doctor was very knowledgeable of the latest developments in AML FLT3 ITD treatments as well as their history. The doctor wrote up his summary report promptly and had it forwarded to my primary oncologist immediately. Thank you, Dr. Norkin.

The RN that does the port draws is lone of the sweetest humans I have ever encountered. I am so sorry that I have chemo brain and cannot remember her name. She walked me through what to expect on my first visit and remembered me and how scared I had been on my next visit. Her kindness and genuine care for her patients should be recognized. She is such an asset to your team.

Everyone is very polite and efficient. I had my lab work done at 7am and the results were available before my scheduled appointment with Dr. Norkin at 8:40. That is amazing. My nurse was friendly and very sincere. As always, I had a great experience at MD Anderson.

Besides the lovely setting, I was most impressed by the positive attentiveness of every staff member we encountered, from Kyle in intake to Evie, Dr. Norkin's nurse, to Dr. Norkin himself, to Gesenia (sp?), my phlebotomist. May they all be blessed!

Dr. Norkin and staff were very professional, listened to everything I had to say, gave me a thorough and detailed diagnosis, explaining everything so that my wife and I could easily understand it, and provided us with treatment plan and what to look for in blood tests to monitor my disease progression or lack thereof. He was very helpful.
