Friendly and compassionate staff, who listen and answer my questions. They’re experts in their field which gives me confidence to trust them. I am so happy at MD Anderson that I am self-paying as Cigna refuses to cover Baptist Health now.

I was initially diagnosed with CLL. It continued until it turned acute, at which time they started treatment. My white blood count reached 161 before it started to decline. Now several months later, it is down to 17 (with 11 being the normal high end). I fully expect it to be down in the normal 4 - 11 range in the coming months. At which time I should learn if medication (oral chemotherapy) will need to be continued to maintain the normal range.

Friendly outgoing staff who make an effort to put their clients at ease. Very organized and structured; guidance to each location was provided. Care was delivered efficiently and professionally which I appreciated. I was included in decision making after discussion available options, which is critical to me in terms of care delivery.

All staff were very professional while portraying a caring attitude! Very timely on appointment and with lab work appointment. Doctor was professional and shared his vast knowledge of the condition in medical words put into easy to understand terminology. Overall experience was great which was very appreciated!
