Bottom line my tumor was successfully removed. Any other issues related to my tumor removal were thoroughly addressed & have significantly less importance in the scheme of things but it took me some time to come to this point of view.

Everyone I encounter, from the front desk concierges to the techs who take my np, to the various doctors I’ve dealt with are cheerful, positive, and compassionate. I’ve never encountered a practice with such patient-oriented, emotionally sensitive staff.

Love MD ANDERSON they were very thorough, patient and prompt. Appts were made with ease follow up and surgery have gone amazing even follow up after surg and plans of care.

From check in to check out every team member is kind, compassionate, polite, professional and personable. I love the efficiency of appointments, scheduling, vitals and more!. From all the physicians to truly act like you are a person and make sure we know they are here for us. I love the nurses who remember my name to greet with warmth, a smile, or just take the time to small talk or engage me in whatever mood I display. Every member is perceptive, aware, well uniformed, clean and intelligent!!

Dr. Johnson was genuine, listened to and addressed my questions and explained the next steps clearly. She also described what situations required me to contact them immediately so I would be knowledgeable and play a role in my own care.

All three women I interacted with were wonderful. Lady who did vitals, etc, the APRN, and lady at checkout who helped with follow up appointments. They were kind, patient, listened, didn’t rush, and gave the impression that that they cared about me and what they were doing. I had options for care in the city - so glad I chose this program and the South location.

Finding out you are ill is never easy, but dealing with people who are kind makes all the difference. Everyone shows extreme interest and tries their best to make you as comfortable as possible. They make a difficult situation so much more easy to deal with.
