The staff goes above and beyond to insure you are comfortable and feel safe. I was feeling stressed about my radiation treatment one day and they got a little fan to help me breathe as I laid on my stomach for treatment. It really helped. They are so considerate and compassionate.

So far everyone was so kind, sweet and very supportive. My Cancer Doctor (she) was very informative and was able communicate to me clearly where I understood all the medical lingo. Instead of all the technical terms.

If I could dream up a cancer treatment care team and facility, I don’t think I would be able to come close to Baptist MD Anderson, Jacksonville. Why? The facility: immaculate, creatively appealing, just open (not crowded), with plenty of seating, both private and in groupings.
The people: unimaginably kind, gentle, easy to smile, or share a laugh! (this I mention often to family and friends…surprising with such serious content in the air, but genuine);
finally: the expert, competent, detailed attention to every aspect of my care.
I’m forever grateful for MD Anderson, and wish EVERY health facility could understand the impact it makes on the journey of a patient.
