I LIKED EVERYTHING ABOUT THE WAY I WAS TREATED THERE AT M.D. ANDERSON; EVERYONE IS ALWAYS VERY NICE AND KIND. THE STAFF THERE REALLY CARE ABOUT EVERY PATIENT AND IF YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND SOMETHING THEY EXPLAIN IT TO YOU WHERE YOU WILL UNDERSTAND.

Dr.’s and nurses spend the time needed with you through each step of the way. Dont feel rushed. Communication is great and available thru portal. Nothing is sugarcoated. Everyone is honest. Love the baptist south location. Makes it convenient for me. I feel like I am in the best of hands. Its quite the journey.

The staff are amazing! Lots of communication between scheduling an appt, coordination with other testing and follow up by the providers. Everything was easy to get through even though being in that situation was difficult. Baptist held to the standard and above

I felt my PA listened and understood to each of my concerns with extreme patience. I felt she was an expert in her field and confident about the course of action I needed to take. She took the time to explain each of the possible next steps for me and reduced my anxiety about the imaging process.

Dr. [full name] is an awesome Doctor/Surgeon. Very caring and concerned about the patient and explains everything to you. She takes a lot of time with you and answers questions that you have. Her PA Lisa McElligott is just as awesome. They are a great team. The nurses that weigh you and do vitals are personable, pleasant, caring, humorous at times which makes your journey easier for me. Kudos to BMDA!

My wait was reasonable. Front desk gentleman was kind and helpful. Seriously, helped me with several questions I had about my patient information form. The whole facility is very clean and appealing. My PA and doctor spent plenty of time with me as I explained in detail my obvious and nonobvious issues.Since I can have some “sad” days wondering what might happen next in my case, I was surprisingly receptive to MD Anderson’s availability of a variety of “support “ options for expressing, dealing and coping with any of my case facts and prospective outcomes. This probably sounds like a paid endorsement but I’m just a regular person and I mean everything I’ve stated here. Also, I live out of the Jacksonville area and the.drive to and from this location is well worth it. I thank God for the ble blessing and availability of our professional medical care.

If I could dream up a cancer treatment care team and facility, I don’t think I would be able to come close to Baptist MD Anderson, Jacksonville. Why? The facility: immaculate, creatively appealing, just open (not crowded), with plenty of seating, both private and in groupings. The people: unimaginably kind, gentle, easy to smile, or share a laugh! (this I mention often to family and friends…surprising with such serious content in the air, but genuine); finally: the expert, competent, detailed attention to every aspect of my care. I’m forever grateful for MD Anderson, and wish EVERY health facility could understand the impact it makes on the journey of a patient.
