I was so scared coming in to my first apt after finding out I was positive for breast cancer. From the moment I was called in to the coordinator to meeting my oncologist, surgeon, social worker, the nurse for what they call my team they all made me feel better. They have answered each and every of my questions as well as provided information on where to apply for help. I am so glad I decided to stay with Baptist and MD Anderson. I know it's a long road but glad I have a wonderful team behind me to hold my hand the entire way!

The medical and surgical doctors explained my situation very carefully. They took time to listen to my concerns. A lot of information in one afternoon to process however they both reviewed all information to help us make the necessary choices. Everyone at M D Anderson was very kind and caring, quite eager to help in anyway. The facility was very clean and didn't have a hospital smell. I'm very thankful to have a place who looks out for the patient and their families concerns.

Everything! Being diagnosed with cancer is a shock, but everyone at this facility was helpful and friendly. They treated me with respect and concern. Most medical facilities today are so rushed that you feel blessed to have been seen at all. That is certainly not the case at MD Anderson. I have been bragging about the level of care since I first walked through the door.

This is not our closest location, but I would make the extra effort because everyone was so pleasant and caring! My surgeon was fantastic at explaining everything to me in a way I could understand. I was quite impressed. She didn’t talk down to me at all and respected the fact that I am a reasonably intelligent person.

Friendly, professional, helpful, caring staff and Dr. Janfaza is awesome! Dr. Janfaza is the best doctor! She cares and she is a very good communicator! She explains all the details, and not so good news in a very clear but calming way with her recommendations. Very very helpful when you are trying to make difficult life changing and saving decisions! Also to add a clean and beautiful facility!

So far my care thru MD Anderson has been completely, comprehensive, amazingly thorough, above and beyond caring and friendly. Each Doctor, nurse, scheduler, whoever I’ve come in contact with has been amazing. The communication and speed of shared information has been amazing as well. I love the Baptist chart app!

I am very impressed with Dr. Janfaza and the care team. Dr. Janfaza is friendly, experienced, confident, caring, and a very good communicator! She explained my diagnosis and pathology results where we could understand and extent of my cancer and upcoming surgery. She explained the pathology results and help me understand the details of my margins that still have cancer cells. She is very professional and at the same time she makes you feel comfortable and approachable with your questions and concerns. Everyone, everyone was very friendly, helpful, and caring and your staff smiles! Facility is clean and well taken care of. Also prompt with appointments and services and efficient and proactive for future surgery needs, labs done immediately, MRI scheduled while still on site! I’m impressed with BMDA Cancer Center staff and services! Thank you!
