Dr. Strickland and HSS are awesome! I was able to get in quickly as a new patient and received information and a plan that was previously unavailable to me using my local doctors. Very happy and grateful that I found her.

Dr.Strickland is a consummate professional. I have been seeing her for my orthopedic needs for 8 plus years and she always exceeds expectations.
Her staff is very knowledgeable and the communication between staff and patient is excellent. My questions have always been answered and my concerns always addressed.
I will continue to choose her as my provider for my orthopedic needs.

The staff at the sign in was especially cheerful, polite and was seemingly helpful. This Doctor was one of the best I’ve ever encountered. Polite, introduced himself, cheerful, shared his findings in such a way that what I was there for was explained on a level that I understood. Will definitely make him my go to doctor for the areas he specializes in.

All of the staff and the radiologist in particular were very friendly and courteous. Dr. Drakos was very thorough and did not tell me my condition was hopeless, like previous Dr.s had done. He was straightforward and gave me a preliminary plan, which was such a relief.

Dr. Taylor & his MD Resident were wonderful! I know this is a challenging surgery for me, but as a patient with a complex health history, all my MDs recommend HSS. I know have the best care w/ Dr. Taylor & the HSS staff!

Dr. Gomoll is simply the best. I am very grateful that he was able to see me and perform my operation. I had a very complex knee injury that has really caused me a great deal of pain, stress, and anxiety. I was scared that I would not be able to do the activities I love and am passionate about. I love to surf, travel to different waves around the world, and have a young daughter whom I want to be actively present in her life for many years. No other doctor I've seen made me feel confident about having answers and a path towards this. Dr. Gomoll instantly explained each aspects of his surgical approach and all of the different options. The part that really sold me that he was the surgeon I needed was that he was not even remotely fazed by the complexity or numerous procedures being performed. One of the other medical professionals before surgery said it best, "This is his theater." You could see his passion and expertise. This made me so confident in his ability to get the job done.

Dr. Marx was thorough and clear when explaining everything. He made me feel comfortable and confident. I was extremely nervous going into this procedure. When Dr. Marx looked me in the eyes and told me I’m ready to go, those nerves vanished.
Dr. Marx, Joe ( ), and the rest of the team were so kind and professional. The nurses were outstanding as well. Every single person treated me like family.

Dr. Fu explained to me that it was a calcium deposit that was causing my pain. He asked if I wanted to treat that . I said yes, but can it be done today ? He contacted Dr. [last name] who saw me immediately after I left Dr. Fu's office. Dr. [last name] performed a procedure to remove the calcium buildup on my shoulder that was causing the pain. Two days later, I was no longer in pain. What an amazing team of doctors. I initially saw an Orthopedic shoulder surgeon from another hospital, who's only solution was to prescribe physical therapy for me, which I won't receive until August 21st, because they're very busy. Thank you HSS once again.

Dr. Ode and her colleague, Dr. Mia ( ), were both very reassuring about my shoulder replacement operation and recovery. This complex and dynamic procedure scared me initially, but both of these professionals communicated details in an understandable way, and made me comfortable with the process. Great printed communication / instructions, and responses to my questions.

Dr. Gulotta was fantastic -- as I expected him to be. But, given the many challenges of the recovery from the surgeries he does, I think the office should devote a little more attention to answering questions and helping patients with the recovery phase. That aside, though, they were all terrific, as was the anesthesiologist.
