Amazing experience. Our experience back home was good, but Dr. Marx was amazing, especially how he talked to our entire family, especially our daughter. She is devastated that she's going to miss a year of lacrosse, but she's very comfortable and looking forward to Dr. Marx doing the surgery.

This was an exceptional visit for me. Dr. Marx was professional, thorough, and had an excellent bedside manner. I felt that he listened to and addressed my questions and concerns. Dr.Marx took the time to review my imaging studies so that I was able to clearly understand my injury. He provided a clear, concise and thoughtful rationale for his treatment recommendation. I felt confident in Dr. Marx’s appraisal of my injury and how best to treat it. I did not feel rushed during the visit and really felt that Dr. Marx wanted to understand my background, lifestyle and other factors that would influence how to best treat my injury. In addition, I found the entire HSS team including the check in staff and the nurses to be kind, friendly and compassionate. I felt that they wanted to provide the best experience for me as a patient. They seemed to want to help me. Everyone made me feel respected and treated me as an individual versus just a number. And finally the staff that I interacted with seemed to like their jobs which to me is important and makes a positive impact. I found this visit to be head and shoulders above other orthopedic visits and interactions that I had.
