Dr DeAsla is an outstanding orthopedic surgeon who presents his expertise in his field on a level that is understandable to the average lay person. He integrates professionalism and friendliness to make his patients feel like they are the most important patient he is seeing. I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation for the gentleman who assisted me during my recent visit. I was genuinely surprised and impressed to see that, despite his title of “Director” on his name tag (I regret that I didn’t catch his name), he personally got down on the floor to help fit me with the [ ]. He was exceptionally kind, attentive, and thorough — not only ensuring the [ ] was properly fitted, but also taking the time to explain how to use it and adjust the air pressure. His willingness to step in so directly and graciously made a lasting impression, and I’m truly grateful for the care and professionalism he demonstrated.

Dr. de Asla was extremely knowledgeable and provided options for my care also his attendant John [ ] was exceptional and friendly and again knowledgeable in resolving an issue that we had in receiving my records And Cecilia at the front desk what’s more than helpful and getting everything ordered and giving me the knowledge she had to pursue the appointment, etc. HSS must be very proud of these people and I enjoy coming to this location and these doctors that I have seen in the past two months

Dr. Ryan Nelson is outstanding, period! He is extremely knowledgeable and genuinely cares about his patients. He is polite, professional and treats you with respect. He is a lot more interested in finding the cause of your problem so he can treat that rather than the effects. And his staff is exceptional, their level of care and compassion is evident in all of their processes.
