Dr DeAsla is an outstanding orthopedic surgeon who presents his expertise in his field on a level that is understandable to the average lay person. He integrates professionalism and friendliness to make his patients feel like they are the most important patient he is seeing. I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation for the gentleman who assisted me during my recent visit. I was genuinely surprised and impressed to see that, despite his title of “Director” on his name tag (I regret that I didn’t catch his name), he personally got down on the floor to help fit me with the [ ]. He was exceptionally kind, attentive, and thorough — not only ensuring the [ ] was properly fitted, but also taking the time to explain how to use it and adjust the air pressure. His willingness to step in so directly and graciously made a lasting impression, and I’m truly grateful for the care and professionalism he demonstrated.

Dr. de Asla was extremely knowledgeable and provided options for my care also his attendant John [ ] was exceptional and friendly and again knowledgeable in resolving an issue that we had in receiving my records And Cecilia at the front desk what’s more than helpful and getting everything ordered and giving me the knowledge she had to pursue the appointment, etc. HSS must be very proud of these people and I enjoy coming to this location and these doctors that I have seen in the past two months

Dr. DeAsla was kind and understanding. He allowed me to voice my concerns and responded to them. He didn’t push me to do something that I felt uncomfortable with. He is an excellent doctor.

Dr de Asla performed my very successful ankle replacement surgery. He and his team were outstanding throughout the process and I would highly recommend him to anyone contemplating to have this surgery.

Very happy with the treatment options suggested and
the plan if additional treatment is required!
Took the time to discuss my foot problems and suggested treatment options always picking the conservative approach as the preferred course.
Highly recommended if I need additional visits or surgery!

The care and respect I received from Dr DeAsla was exceptional!! I flew in from OH for emergency Achilles repair surgery and his office took me in and treated me with such great care and expertise. Dr DeAsla is extremelv knowledgable and explained my medical options thoroughly. He took a confusing and bad situation and made me feel confident and hopeful for my health and well being. I am happy to recognize the excellence with this doctor and his entire team!

Dr. DeAsla is the quite simply the BEST. Competent, skilled, knowledgeable and has a great bedside manner. Hands down I would recommend him to anyone that needs orthopedic foot surgery. I wish my other foot that had the same surgery years ago could have been Dr. DeAsla.

When I arrived I was very uncomfortable Dr DeAsle did go above what other doctors have thus far. He is trying to get to the bottom of what is going on with my ankle. I appreciate it more than he will ever know
