Dr LaRouche is one of the best doctors we’ve ever had. Unfortunately since we moved, we have to find a different doctor. We will miss her.

Not only is Dr. Kim wonderful to work with, every single person, with whom I have interacted at the office, is kind, thoughtful, and efficient. I am extremely satisfied with the care I receive and would whole heartedly recommend my Michigan Health in Alma.

Dr. Bernson and her office are extremely friendly, LGBTQ+ accepting, open-minded, and caring. They invest in their patients and want to help. They always try to take the least invasive path, which can be frustrating when you simply want an answer, but it does help to prevent unnecessary risk and expense.

Dr Virk even took the time to call me personally himself (even after hours) to follow up and see how I was doing after a minor office procedure.

10000% YES! Jessica (PA-C) was incredible. I will request to see her and continue my general care with her. She was patient, caring, listened to my chief complaint(s) and helped guide me. I really felt seen, heard, cared for and validated. My initial experience here a while back was fair. Liked the med student that saw me. However, the overseeing physician came in at the tail end of my appt, was there for 5 minutes and tried changing completely the plan of care route we had just discussed. She didn’t know my chart, my CC, or medical HX. She recommended a RX i had an allergy to, I could go on. Overall, i did not like her aggressive and standard approach. Therefore was hesitant to come back. Recently i developed new issues and i knew I was established here. I felt my concerns this time around were different and more concerning therefore I decided to give it another shot. I saw Jessica PA-C. Again, i will say my care with her was incredible. I will only see her from here on out.

I stumbled into this office when in Alma a year ago. It’s a drive from Mt Pleasant but I am very comfortable with all of the service providers I have seen. It’s calmer than Mt Pleasant and the providers came highly recommended

Dr. Virk is very personable. He shows his genuine care for his patients. Is willing to take into consideration your thoughts regarding health treatment and explains why or why not your ideas may or may not work. We are learning to treat my diabetes together and it is nice to know my questions and concerns are addressed. I would recommend Dr. Virk. His demeanor is very caring, friendly and upbeat. I have a good visit with him when I see Dr. Virk. He was there at the hospital keeping track of my condition while not being my primary doctor yet. He has an excellent dedication to service.I am appreciative to find a doctor like that.

Dr. Virk is a very nice person who listens to your concerns and will work with you to accomplish your health needs and goals. He is pleasant, friendly and shows concern for his patients. He even may call to check in on your progress in treatment and changes. I appreciate the caring he has shown me regarding my current health issues and will look forward to the future working together.

Dr klugas is well grounded in family practice medicine. He is always prepared for our visits, listens carefully and responds appropriately. He is a very good partner in planning my care. He communicates as necessary to results of testing / imaging to convey satisfaction or to direct additional action. He has the respect of the office staff and residents he mentors. Dr Klugas is a fine physician and a very nice person. I highly recommend him for anyone in need of Primary Care.

She listens to what your concerns are and works with you to get the answers that are needed. It’s difficult to find a doctor that you are confident in their decisions for your health. With Dr Mowbrey, I trust what she tells me.

I cannot say enough about this office and especially this provider. She listened to me and was patient with me as I struggled to articulate myself sometimes. But she still heard what I was trying to say. She was patient with me and explained things until I was able to understand them. She cared about things because they were important to me. And that is immeasurable. I am current on my healthcare appointments and have so many questions answered that I have had for many many years. Thank you so much to everyone involved.

Alma Family practice has been very diligent in and helpful in dealing with my health issues. There is one thing that I would change if it was possible, but I think it can't be helped. Since I've been a patient here I have had multiple differ doctors. It seems that this facility is mostly a stepping stone for doctors who eventually move on. I miss the days when I had one family practitioner for long enough to form a firm relationship.

That she is quite sharp and does not answer what she is unsure of!!
