Everyone that I came into contact with seemed interested in my concerns and gave me all the time I needed. They explained the medications and how to use them and asked if I had any questions.

Clean, up to date, staff kind, experienced, caring. Cynthia is wonderful! I was uptight about my 1st time there and she was kind, explaining everything. I will definitely be back to see her! It’s too bad Elmwood park location isn’t going to carry aesthetics. Bucktown is challenging but I will definitely book an appointment and see how it goes. Thank you!

I didn't feel that the doctor was very thorough during the screening. The exam was very quick. In previous examinations, the doctors notated the shape and size of my moles to keep track of changes. That did not happen in this exam and I did not feel that the previous notes were being used in this meeting at all. She was very nice though.

The doctor barely looked at my son and the things on his skin. Not sure how you can give a diagnosis when there’s almost no exam or research. Write it off as eczema when it’s in a circular state and raised off the skin. A literally waste of time.

Dr Horn great. His assist not so much. Failed to send prescription to right pharmacy (Walgreens at lake and Harlem). I had clarified with her because this happened in Sept too.

I think I've commented in the past about the language at the front desk being very gendered as well as the bathrooms. I noticed the last few times I have been at the office that steps have been taken to remove gendered language from your customer service and that there are now gender neutral bathroom options. As someone who has a nonbinary partner and a lot of trans loved ones, this is a really important step and it is appreciated. Additionally, Dr. Arch remembered that my partner is nonbinary and used they/them pronouns when we discussed them — it might seem small but it's a big deal for me to not have to correct people assuming that I am straight. The care I receive at Dermatology & Aesthetics is always top notch, but these are the things that make me feel cared for and keep me coming back.

When I scheduled the appt, the scheduler told me that Dr Gordon wanted to see me for more time to discuss my other ongoing issues so I was booked out really far in advance to accommodate that timing. When I got to the appt it felt very rushed and I was told by the nurse that they only had 10 minutes and I would have to come back for my other concerns.
