He was very respectful, made sure to meet me and have a conversation with me before I changed for the exam. He was very knowledgeable and explained things clearly. Truly a wonderful physician and he brought up a treatment option no one else had ever mentioned to me that does not require surgery or cause any complications if I choose to have another child in the future. Win win!

I met Kate at the time of surgery and joking asked her who would be in charge of making sure my scar was cute because I’ve seen some ugly scars. We laughed and she said that was her job and she would make sure everything was as good. She was true to her word!! Kate is a great member of a great team.

During my visit, Dr. Giri came across as cold and not particularly welcoming. The appointment felt rushed and ended abruptly without a closing such as “have a good day” or a discussion about next steps. I was surprised to later see that a six month follow up had been scheduled without any conversation or explanation during the appointment. Basic bedside manner, "hello", "thank you", "good-bye", go a long way...
I also felt heavily scrutinized during the visit. When I shared my existing diagnoses, including two confirmed conditions, I was told that I do not have it. These diagnoses were previously confirmed through imaging. It appeared that my imaging results may have been misread or misunderstood, which was both confusing and concerning. The interaction left me feeling dismissed rather than supported and really rubbed me off the wrong way. Her approach felt like an interrogation rather than a conversation.
As a patient with ongoing medical issues, I value respectful communication, accuracy, and a collaborative approach to care. Unfortunately, that was not my experience during this visit.
