When someone is experiencing complex medical issues, it is not unusual to be dismissed or invalidated. Dr K did not make me feel that way, even when explaining symptoms that are likely not related to the endocrine system. I felt like she actually heard what I was saying. I hope she knows how rare this is and how much it means to be treated with some humanity.
