I was very impressed with Shelley. I have only just started at this facility after many retiring or moving on providers, none of which have impressed me. Here was someone who had checked my history. It had sort of slipped my mind that my last MRI of my back showed severe problems (I was aware of them) and that the referral for surgery sort of evaporated after the surgeon refused any surgery. Shelley sort of mentioned numbness in my pelvic/bladder/bowel area and I am now paying more attention to that, I strongly suspect she is on the right path. To be honest I tend to go along with the flow and don't complain (I'm [ ]). Jennifer impressed me too. After my first visit at which I was impressed, I had new symptoms and mentioned it on MyChart. Them same day I received a phone call suggesting an appointment with Shelley for the next day. Now, I am [AGE] years old but keep alert and find my mind running most of the time, sometimes to my detriment.

That the PC’s I have seen this year are what is keeping me at My Michigan. I will be honest, Before a new PC was assigned to me, I was looking elsewhere for care. I have changed my mind.

Our appointment went very well. I never met her before she was helping out and is a traveling PA. I was happy to know that she had went over my medical history and was able to discuss everything with me very well.

Excellent. My only observation that was not excellent was that since I was being seen for a sinus infection, I thought they should have taken my temperature. That vital sign was not done.

I only saw Ms. Campbell once in the absence of my Primary Care Physician who was out of the office. She was very personable, listened to me, and tried to give suggestions. Unfortunately, my situation is different in that I can't find an Endocrinologist who will prescribe compound thyroid meds and she has no time to search for me.

When I called in the morning about severe back pain, they got me in to see Shelley Campbell the same morning. She was extremely kind, knowledgeable, and was a great listener. She asked many questions to truly understand the pain I was having and then explained what she was going to do. She ordered an x-ray and told me not to exercise until the results were back. She explained that if there was no fracture, we would discuss the possibility of PT. When the results were back, I received an email explaining the results and to let them know if the pain did not subside in a week. Shelley was a very caring person and I would definitely recommend her to anyone.

The nurse who took my vitals told me that Shelly would only focus on either 1) An acute issue I’m having or 2) My routine physical. Although I am fortunate to not have any major health issues I feel this is unprofessional both on the nurse and with Shelly. I’m assuming the nurse likely would not say this without some previous encounter with Shelly or a patient who shared this concern. No patient should have to pick between an acute issue or a chronic issue in a primary care office.
