Kelli is great! I love her. She is personable and listens intently. The office staff is "okay". There are times when I call or send messages and don't necessarily get the answers I need. Things seem to get lost in translation sometimes. The girl I usually talk to on the phone (I don't know her name) is very friendly and helpful. Sometimes I ask for certain tests to be sent to the lab and maybe it isn't communicated correctly? The front desk staff is "iffy". They aren't always the most friendly. There is one lady who has been there quite a while. I believe she is partially retired. She is very friendly. The others don't always seem that friendly. I guess overall when trying to communicate through the office staff I don't always feel like I'm being fully listened to. I feel like I'm more of an afterthought or like I am just being hurried through the process sometimes. I feel like I'm being annoying or something. It's not horrible I just don't feel like my issues are 100% important.

There were concerns noted by my PCP regarding recent blood work and to follow up at next appointment. I purposely fasted before this appointment so I could use this lab because the lab closest to where I live can never find my veins to draw. Freeland lab drew the sample but I never received results. I had to follow up and then they told me my sample had hemolyzed. Never had this happen in my entire life so I find this excuse hard to believe. And I am unhappy no one ever followed up or contacted me. Seems sort of unprofessional.

Lab results are posted on the portal, but never expect to receive a call. Things explained only during an appointment. Dr. Philips is courteous, professional and listens The staff (nurses) were very conscientious about making sure I knew what might cost me more out-of-pocket.

Dr. Beavers is an excellent doctor as well as wonderful person. He is both very knowledgeable and intelligent, as well as compassionate and caring. His staff has issues with returning messages. When I gave up on them and sent a message directly to Dr. Beavers on the MyMichigan portal, I was pleasantly surprised by his immediate response within 30 minutes of my inquiry. He immediately addressed and rectified my issue. Dr. Beavers is excellent.
