The office workers and Dr Akbar were great. They are very helpful and supportive. It takes a while for surgery since Dr has limited hours in Tawas. The most recent change is calling the office. It doesn't go directly to the office anymore. So, you are on the phone longer answering someone off-site to decide if they should forward you to the office. Do not like.

The office personnel are very friendly. The nurse and Dr. Bermudez are friendly also. Dr. Bermudez is a good listener and seems to really care about the pain in my legs. The shots have helped me tremendously.

I went to see Dr Taha because my girlfriend recommended him from her experience in hip surgery. She thought he was excellent. I went for a consult for my left hip for possible replacement, every one was very nice and friendly and professional, including Dr. It kind of went too smoothly but I want it done before winter too.

When others mentioned a problem they were experiencing, I highly recommended you people to them for treatment and will continue to do so. Dr. Bermudez is great, very personable and worked well with us to resolve my son's issue. My only complaint is the wait time for the appointment. We had an appointment at 2:45, but did not get taken back until about 3:30.

Dr. Taha is very knowledgeable, kind, and compassionate. The front office staff have always been friendly and helpful when scheduling appointments. My experience with the back-office support staff has been less positive. I understand they may be understaffed, but I’ve had phone messages go unanswered, and it took weeks to receive a response to a MyChart question. I had to submit the same question twice. My advice: Be your own advocate! Stay on top of your requests and follow up if you don’t hear back. If there are 40 messages ahead of yours, your phone message may go unanswered. Based on my experience, allow 2–3 weeks for a MyChart response. I’m pretty easygoing and even feel bad calling a doctor’s office with questions, but communication matters. Overall, I’m happy with my care and would recommend Dr. Taha to family and friends!
