I saw Dr Akbar for a trigger thumb and later a less painful trigger finger. He tried injections first, as expected. The thumb just got worse, so they scheduled surgery [DATE]. Although it ended up being more recovery time than I expected, as there was extensive damage, it was fixed. I can bend it without pain/getting stuck. I'm very grateful for that. The staff is great.

He is an absolutely amazing doctor. Always answered any question I had, even helped me not pass out while getting my stitches taken out. I have never felt unhappy or unsatisfied with anything Mr. Akbar has done. He is simply amazing and recommend him to anyone!

Had both knees replaced in [YEAR] and have had yearly check ups every year. Always good news!! Staff are like family, friendly, professional and supportive. Dr Akbar did my surgery back then and I give him credit for my excellent recovery and well being 11 years later. He is so kind and caring.

Dr Akbar listened to my symptoms and offered options at both appointments. It takes a while to schedule surgery, but that's normal for Ortho and mine isn't any emergency. He is patient, kind and professional.
