What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
Had both knees replaced in [YEAR] and have had yearly check ups every year. Always good news!! Staff are like family, friendly, professional and supportive. Dr Akbar did my surgery back then and I give him credit for my excellent recovery and well being 11 years later. He is so kind and caring.

Dr Akbar listened to my symptoms and offered options at both appointments. It takes a while to schedule surgery, but that's normal for Ortho and mine isn't any emergency. He is patient, kind and professional.

Dr Akbar is exceptional! Highly recommended. The office currently needs some help! Calls not returned, short staffed. I called 4 times to schedule my knee replacement and was sent to a voice mail that no one responded to. I had to come in and talk to Dr who put me with office manager to schedule surgery!

Dr. Waheed Akbar is a very knowledgeable and caring Dr. He understands that it is not always "go to surgery", but rather try physical therapy, and exercise first. That is very helpful, especially when there are other options. I always recommend him to anyone who is asking for that type of physician!
