Dr Akbar is exceptional! Highly recommended. The office currently needs some help! Calls not returned, short staffed. I called 4 times to schedule my knee replacement and was sent to a voice mail that no one responded to. I had to come in and talk to Dr who put me with office manager to schedule surgery!

What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
Dr. Waheed Akbar is a very knowledgeable and caring Dr. He understands that it is not always "go to surgery", but rather try physical therapy, and exercise first. That is very helpful, especially when there are other options. I always recommend him to anyone who is asking for that type of physician!

I always tell everyone that Dr. Waheed Akbar is so gentle, kind and caring. his Expertise in all the surgeries I have had with him has been the best thing I've ever decided to do with my health. His bedside manor is impeccable. he always asks about my family, husband, and genuinely cares about treating me medically and answers all my questions. I love Dr. Akbar and hope he never retires!

Great Dr. Doesn't do surgery anymore. Can't recommend him for surgery. I loved having him for my surgeon. Excellent doctor.

Dr Akbar is a wonderful, friendly, caring Dr and also the nurses for him, including the desk staff but the surgical person for him doesn't return phone calls and I've had to drive to the office to get something done.

Staff is terrible. I have been trying to get my much needed knee replacement scheduled. Dr akbar has approved and I have all bloodwork and medical clearance. Scheduler will not return my calls, nor get me scheduled.
