I specifically made my appointment for this location because they have the larger bore machine . I get anxiety about mri appointments. With that in mind I selected this location which is an hour away. The staff were nice. I waited over an hour and still was offered the machine I didn’t make the appointment for. It sucked but I gave them 3 stars because the staff were very nice and cordial.

Chesapeake Medical. I had a last minute sonogram to get done they very accommodating and squeezed me in. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. My technician was wonderful friendly and knowledgeable.

I love using the Defense Hwy location mainly for the convenience to my home. But i n addition, the staff is ALWAYS so helpful & polite. It's not a chore when I have to come here.

I have been going to CMI for years to get my yearly mammogram. This is the 2nd year l scheduled an appointment for my 89 year old mother & myself to get our screening together. My mother’s appt was 1:30, mine was 1:50. CMI requested we arrive 30 min prior to our appt. We arrived at 1:25. We both filled out registration forms via text. When we arrived we had to fill out 2 more forms. The screening tech called us at 2:10. Had we arrived 30 min prior to our scheduled appts, we would have waited 1hr 10 min. We waited 45 min in a crowded waiting room. So crowded there was only one seat available. The screening tech was excellent! She said, they were short handed. I understand the shortage of personnel. It is like that everywhere you go. There were 4 receptionists at the front desk, all very nice & helpful. I had my screening. When we were finished & getting ready to leave around 3:00, the waiting area was clear with the exception of 2 people. My mother is a 31 year breast cancer survivor! I had to reschedule her for a diagnostic mammogram & ultrasound. The receptionist said they did not have an opening until March. I said that is a month from now, she can’t wait that long, her left breast has been hurting her! They said they could squeeze her in for 2/21. If they are so short handed why would they overbook to the point that the are no seats available in the waiting area? Everybody had a mask on. Maybe Covid is not as rampant as it once was? But, it is here to stay, it is our way of life now. There is always a chance & a fear that someone is going to get it & give it to someone else. Sincerely, Brenda Hayes
