Everything was great except my appointment had to be rescheduled more than once because Dr. Volhaber had emergency surgery. I was glad to see NP Lisa Miller.

In spite of my medical issues this office and Stephanie in particular was exceptional. I spent a few days in the Midland hospital and during this time and long after Stephanie was very helpful and answered all my questions. She was very understanding, professional and patient. I couldn’t have received better care.

This was an initial app't for me. Dr Jones had looked over referral info and had looked at my prior tests. He was a good listener and explained reasons for tingling in my R arm. No further treatment at this point was needed.

Dr. Jones is amazing!! Staffing is terrible, they don't return calls very difficult to make an appt and just as bad to get a surgery scheduled

The doctor and nurses was excellent except the time to get appointments is horrible it's going on a year now and we're still not done need to speed up the appointments instead of waiting two to three months thank you have a great day

Dr. Vollhaber was incredibly kind and respectful. He listened carefully to my concerns and answered all my questions. He recommended a less intrusive procedure that would yield the same results, which lowered my overall anxiety. I highly recommend Dr. Vollhaber!

Dr. Vollhaber is an excellent surgeon. I was extremely pleased with his expertise in caring for me. He is kind, caring, understanding and compassionate. Mid Michigan could use more doctors like him. His office nurse and Nurse Practitioners Were also excellent. My surgery took place at Midland Hospital and my care there was also outstanding! I am very pleased with my overall experience and outcome. I highly recommend Dr. Vollhaber.

What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
I highly recommend Dr Vollhaber. I experienced a sudden onset event, never having an issue like this before. I did have an initial wait for my first appointment and pain was an issue. That appointment was cancelled due to emergency surgery and rescheduled . They rescheduled and Surgery date was made, again with a wait. I realize 6-8 weeks does not seem like long but dealing with the electrical pain was extremely difficult. He did an amazing job and I improve everyday. The office did cancel appointments two more times and then wanted to reschedule two more months out. That is why there was a virtual appointment most recently. Might I suggest not scheduling office appointments on surgical days? Dr. Vollhaber is obviously a gifted surgeon, why not free up more OR time for him instead of making people in pain suffer?

Stephanie Musil took care of me when I fractured my C4 vertebrae and then followed up with audio visits because I was so far away. It was such a relief to be able to have X-rays taken at the hospital 1 hour away and then talk to her on the phone rather than have to arrange a 3 hour trip to her office. She made me feel like I was her only concern and that I truly mattered.

She tells you the way it is...I did what she Toll me to do.. she told me I'm fine didn't need the brace on my neck no more.....she is wonderful person... Wish was more like her. If people come and ask who they should see go to her.

Dr. Vollhaber is a very caring and kind man. He doesn’t rush through my appointment time with him, and he listens very intently to everything I have to say. He is an awesome surgeon; and I’m so happy he is the doctor I chose to perform my back surgery! Thank you, Dr. V.!!!

Dr. Vallhaber is extremely talented and precise. I was dreading pain post surgery and had none. I feel this is due to Dr. Vollhaber' expertise. His office was very thorough pre and post surgery. I am grateful.
