Dr. Jones is very knowledgeable about what he does and he explains things very well. Only problem is is that he at least for the first appointment I had was an hour and 15 minutes late from my 10:30 appointment. I saw him at 11:45. Other than that, I consider him to be an excellent doctor.

I would say Dr Jones is caring and explains everything in great detail in a manner that is easy to understand. He has compassion, and I never feel rushed during my visit.

Dr. Jones was referred to me by one of the Drs in Alpena and I can see why. He is clear cut, doesn’t beat around the bush, and gives understandable expectations when discussing surgery/ my back problems. I appreciate doctors who do that. I’m not into sugar coating or giving false promise. I like knowing the problem and then handling it. I feel like I am in good hands when it’s comes to being seen by Dr. Jones.

I would recommend Dr. Mark Jones to someone that I know that would need his service. Downfall is it definitely does take a long time to get in to make your first appointment and it is a long wait to have surgery. When ever I needed to call the office, the phone does not get answered. You have to leave a message and usually they call you back within a couple days.

Dr. Jones spent a good amount of time diagnosing my issues and explaining what he would do to help alleviate my pain. He contacted another Dr. to get me into his office for further testing.

He is very knowledgeable but doesn’t have a good friendly manner. I waited in the office over one hour past my appointment time. He was taking care of another patient but never said I’m sorry when he came in. Kind of arrogant. Nurse was wonderful

Dr. Jones is an excellent doctor. I trust Dr. Jones. The issues Dr. Jones has is in his office. When I call to make an appointment, I have to leave a message and sometimes I won't get a return call for two or more days, or I have to call back and leave another message to get a returned call. I needed to get surgery scheduled, and it took his office 3 months to make that appointment, despite the many calls that I made to have someone call me back (which never happened). Once the appt. did get made, it was another 2 months for surgery. I don't feel that that is acceptable, especially when a patient is left hanging with no explanation as to why it is taking so long. I would be leery to recommend this office purely because of his staff.

It took a longer than expected time to get an appointment with Dr. Jones and on the day of the appointment we had to wait quite a while before he came into the examining room. However, after he did come in, he is exceptionally friendly professional and personable, and he gave me as thorough of a physical exam as I have had from any doctor in the past several years. I rate him very highly. The scheduling of the appointment was the only real problem.

It took 4 months to get into see Dr Jones. He was very caring and explained my issues. I waited 1.5 hours to see him. Had an 11;00 appointment and saw him at 12:30. Still waiting to see what I need to do about my issues and a follow up EMG. Hopefully the office will contact me,

We waited for over an hour in the waiting room and then in his office! The nurse came in once and said Dr was with a new patient! I was a new patient!

Was there anything that you feel was outstanding?
Dr Jones carefully examined me—in fact the most careful physical examination I have ever received. He was courteous and respectful. He listened well and understood my symptoms. He went out his way to explain clearly the operation which he subsequently performed.
What could have been done to improve your experience?
Nothing.

Was there anything that you feel was outstanding?
During my visit Dr. Jones was running a little late approximately 20 minutes his Med Assistant (Candance ?) kept us advised and apologized for our wait! She even brought us two bottles of water.
