What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
Dr. Jones is a wonderful, caring doctor. Unfortunately, it was nearly impossible to schedule an appointment with Dr. Jones. He has been my doctor since [YEAR], treating me for trigeminal neuralgia. When suffering from a recent attack, I was not able to make an appointment...Unless I became a new, referred patient and had an MRI before being reviewed by the office to become a patient of Dr. Jones again. An MRI before the doctor saw me is UNbelievable. I should be reimbursed for that needless cost. I had to travel to Regional Medical Imaging in Flint to have a prompt MRI...MyMich could not schedule the MRI for 2 months. I was experiencing very painful nerve attacks and still had to wait for the office approval. I had to repeatedly call the office. The office did not follow up with me. After being approved, I still had to wait 6 weeks for an appointment. My total experience lasted 12 weeks. Dr. Jones was very upset about my experience. I am upset as well. Won't recommend the office.

To be prepared to be questioned why you’re there and not shut down on advocating for yourself just because the initial feel seems to be questioning your need to be there. I feel things may have been viewed differently if my stress response wasn’t running so high. I felt defeated with the first question “I don’t know why you’re here”.

Excellent care , knowledgeable, down to earth , Old fashion care, not this new fangled corporate care that only care about how much money they make. I would recommend you to everyone that needs this type of care.

This appt was a "new patient" visit so it took longer than usual to get the appt. I was expecting that. I was pleased with Dr. Jones and the office staff. They were very pleasant and professional.

I’ve never had a doctor who actually went over all my scans from the beginning of the problem. He answered all my questions and he was very kind and patient. I would definitely recommend him to all my friends and family. Thank you Dr jones. You put my mind at rest.

Dr. Mark Jone is an excellent Neurosurgeon and I have been recommended him to many people. He did work on my upper back and to this day I have had no problems or discomfort.

Easy to talk to.. Listened when I explained the problems I was experiencing Made sure I understood my options and didn't press me to decide on any one idea I went with the surgery and am totally pleased with the results I would not hesitate to call this provider again

Office staff are extremely slow to respond to appointment requests. Took me a month to get an appointment date set. I had to repeatedly contact them, even though my PA sent my info and referral. Dr Jones was worth the wait! He spent more time with me than any other Dr or PA has in many years. He genuinely wanted to get me answers that day before I left his office.
