Yes. This was my first visit and I was very impressed with his knowledge, friendliness, professionalism and the follow up for testing that he ordered and a follow up appointment. I would highly recommend him

Dr. Volhaber answered all my questions I had , even the ones that weren’t about today’s visit. He was patient with me and even my [age] year old son I brought with me , he was kind and friendly and not once did he seem in a rush. He showed and explained my scans to me. He is knowledgeable and kind, I left feeling good and confident.

I would highly recommend Dr Vollhaber to anyone who needs his services. I would say I had the best care from his staff and the hospital, everyone was very helpful, friendly and caring.

Dr Vollhaber is a wonderful doctor He is down to earth and east to understand. He never rushed you and always answers your questions. I would definitely recommend him. However, when you call his office for an appointment no one ever answers the telephone. You always have to leave a message and they will supposedly call you back within 48 hours. But, there was a time in [Month] when I was in terrible sciatic pain and needed to be seen and my call was never returned. Luckily I was able to get into my pain management doctor for pain injections. I think this situation really needs to be addressed. I don't understand why they don't have a person who just answers the phone to schedule appointments.

It takes time to get in and become a patient but it's worth the wait. Dr Vollhaber is thorough, kind and respectful. He listens and answers all your questions and thoroughly explains what his plan is for you and what you can expect. He is professional and attentive. His staff are also kind and respectful and attentive and professional. I am happy to be a patient at this facility.

Would not recommend Dr. Volhaber, does not try to actually find the issue, rude and will dismiss you. He will also push you off to another specialist. Not a doctor I want in my corner. I conversed with other health professionals regarding this and how he handled this was unprofessional and a waste of money.

The doctor and nurses was excellent except the time to get appointments is horrible it's going on a year now and we're still not done need to speed up the appointments instead of waiting two to three months thank you have a great day

Dr. Vollhaber was incredibly kind and respectful. He listened carefully to my concerns and answered all my questions. He recommended a less intrusive procedure that would yield the same results, which lowered my overall anxiety. I highly recommend Dr. Vollhaber!

Dr. Vollhaber is an excellent surgeon. I was extremely pleased with his expertise in caring for me. He is kind, caring, understanding and compassionate. Mid Michigan could use more doctors like him. His office nurse and Nurse Practitioners Were also excellent. My surgery took place at Midland Hospital and my care there was also outstanding! I am very pleased with my overall experience and outcome. I highly recommend Dr. Vollhaber.

What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
I highly recommend Dr Vollhaber. I experienced a sudden onset event, never having an issue like this before. I did have an initial wait for my first appointment and pain was an issue. That appointment was cancelled due to emergency surgery and rescheduled . They rescheduled and Surgery date was made, again with a wait. I realize 6-8 weeks does not seem like long but dealing with the electrical pain was extremely difficult. He did an amazing job and I improve everyday. The office did cancel appointments two more times and then wanted to reschedule two more months out. That is why there was a virtual appointment most recently. Might I suggest not scheduling office appointments on surgical days? Dr. Vollhaber is obviously a gifted surgeon, why not free up more OR time for him instead of making people in pain suffer?

What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
Never felt like I was a bother, listened to what I had to say and explained my issue so I could understand. Very Happy that surgery was not the only solution.
