Dr Vollhaber was very caring and a good listener. He explained the procedure he recommended very well. The surgery was successful and, I am for the most part, pain free and a lot less uncomfortable than before.

Dr. Took the time to answer my questions and didn’t “rush” me through his office. I liked that particularly about him. He’s also very knowledgeable and friendly.

I've had only 1 appointment, but so far, I'm not impressed. He cut me off while I was talking about my symptoms, he did not go over all of the finding of my MRI, and he spent less than 10 minutes talking to me. I spent more time in the waiting room than he spent with me. I waited months for this appointment and I feel let down.

Excellent surgeon. Had 30% chance of walking after accident. I have no neurological deficit and have walked since post op day 2. Highly recommend!

He always answers my questions carefully so I understand his reply. I would recommend anyone who asked, to make an appointment with him. He is the best. After the surgery, I had no pain and I am very pleased with my experience.

Dr Vollhaber was very thorough regarding my current issues and health conditions as well as what needs to be done during my upcoming surgery .The staff was also very thorough following my recent lab work as well and that shows empathy and support for my overall well being both physically and mentally .

Dr Vollhaber is an exceptional surgeon. Always explained everything in detail and in laymen terms s well as gave options to choose from. I knew what to expect and he always answered any questions I had.

The Dr is great. Unfortunately getting timely referals has been tough. I was referred to the Pain Clinic and left 4 messages for Dr office because I was not getting my referral and they never returned my calls. When my PT had to send an update on my progress he put in the report that i was still waiting for the call. Only then did I get a call. Also phone system- very difficult to get a live person. Frustrating

Very good doctor but when calling and trying to make an appointment they never ever answer the phone I have to leave messages constantly I've called numerous numerous occasions over a year and it's always the same I understand they can be busy but I probably called over 50 times and to get an answer machine every time is ridiculous and then it takes a day or two for them to call me back

He did what he told me he was going to do to fix my back, not super outgoing , but seems very good at what he specializes in. Bedside mannor seems like by the book only, needs to listen to patient better
