Dr [last name] and Adrienne have the best bedside manner. I felt heard and respected by both of them. I appreciate that I was involved with my plan of care from day 1. Dr Whitworth and everyone on her team are WONDERFUL! I realize I’m NOT her only patient but, in the moments she is speaking to me she always makes me feel like I am her only patient. I can’t begin to express how calming it is that Dr Whitworth speaks to me like I’m a human and not some number that is beneath her knowledge when I don’t understand something, she explains it in real world language. When she speaks to me in person, she sits right in front of me and never stands over me. That one simple gesture is calming instead of intimidating. She never makes me feel like my questions are a waste of her time and she looks me directly in the eye. This may seem insignificant, but it’s life-changing. Being in a doctor’s office is nerve-racking enough without the fear of cancer. Dr Whitworth communicates with her heart while continuing to doctor through her brilliance.
