What would you tell family & friends about your experience?
He makes infor. shared, very plain, even if he has to draw it out on the whiteboard. I feel heard and cared for in a gentle, caring way with Dr. Kaplan. He’s eye to eye with me, and makes sure I understand the nature of my illnesses and how the changes he makes in my medications are beneficial. I always thank him for the way he cares for me, as he understands my fears and he makes sure I understand the road ahead and how I’m to stay committed to my part of the good health journey. An excellent doctor!

I would recommend Dr. Dhawan for primary care physician except for Epic Care long wait before seeing Dr. Dhawan.

Dr. Gupta is not only an exceptional Oncologist but a terrific person to interact with with. She always is easy to talk to in discussing my care. She has made it possible to have my colorectal cancer in remission.

Dr. Kaplan is very patient and knowledgeable of all health issues. He has the patience to explain all these different medical terms that most people like myself don’t really understand.

I will tell him that she’s kind she’s patient. She interact with her patient. She always has a smile and she always listens to what I have to say. I wish there was more provider like her. Most people are there for the money, but you could tell that she’s there for the patient.

Since I started the 'after-care' part of my journey, I've have 3 surgeons. Dr. Murphy I've seen twice and the my original I had seen once, and never saw another until I saw Dr. Murphy last year. She's kind, personable and funny - likes to know things about her patient's other than just dealing with the disease. I would resomment.

Dr. Titov has been my primary care physician for about 30 years. He’s always approached my health issues seriously, and I’ve considered him my health coach for all of these years. He has his head in the game and has for as long as I’ve been his patient. I don’t hesitate to contact him with my concerns via the Epic Care/John Muir My health patient portal.
