Dr. Mahmoud and his team are thoroughly informative; kind-hearted, cheerful, and supportive; and they run things right on schedule – as a working adult caretaker managing my father‘s cancer care, this was all I could hope for. I would send anybody there without reservation.

The Dr. seemed really in tune with my situation and was very caring and honest about options and potential outcomes. He explained the why behind his thought process and advised that the "mother ship" in Houston had been consulted with, too. I saw 7 different oncologists and the Dr. here at MD Anderson is the one I'm more comfortable with and will ride my cancer journey with.

From the first time I met with Dr Mahmoud until this week, his caring nature and unparalleled knowledge have been evident. Everyone understands cancer is scary. His patient nature in LISTENING to me and then explaining everything about my treatment plan and progress have been the best. I have found I can discuss other non-oncological medical concerns with him and he also knows about those and can explain things better than my other specialists! This man should be the face of Baptist / MD Anderson. Because of him and the entire Oncology team from techs to nurses to front desk folks to schedulers, you are deservedly the best in the business.

Everyone is great. From check in to seeing the nurse, doctor and the individual who takes you B/P, etc. Such a caring group. Will take the time to answer any questions you may have.

Pretty much everything… intake and scheduling were so pleasant, and you can tell they love their job. The nurse [last name] was knowledgeable and took me through the whole procedure from start to finish. Facility is clean and well kept. I was in healthcare for 30 years in many a capacity and can tell a well run one. Thank you everyone for your professionalism.

Every aspect of my visit with radiation oncology was top notch. From check-in to meeting with Dr. Shah was a great experience. Dr. Shah's nurse Gina was extremely helpful and professional in obtaining all the information needed. Dr. Shah was one of the best doctors I have ever met with in my almost 80 years of life. It is obvious that he takes the time to be very thorough in sharing information with the patients. He is very personable and does not use "doctor speak" but goes out of his way to ensure you totally understand what you are dealing with as a cancer patient. Highly recommend him!
