Jordan [last name] RN and Dr O'Steen were very informative. Dr O'Steen had thoroughly reviewed my case. She helped me understand how my cancer had responded so far to treatment and how it was likely to respond without further intervention. She explained how my cancer would respond to the radiation. I learned from the RN that proton radiation would be used, sparing healthy tissue.

ALL the staff doctors desk checkin radiologist all of the employees at the cancer center staff are excellent they handle every situation above and beyond such a wonderful group. hospitality is beyond a 10 they treat and greet you so wonderful always asking you how your doing and if you are feeling well and is there anything they can do to help you are something they can do to make sure you are at the right place floor or the right place to see your doctor. Every staff their at MD Anderson is that way. it doesn't matter where you go in the building its all that way.

Dr. O’steen is the kindest. Most caring person I’ve ever met. She always takes the time to answer my questions and tells me what to expect. Also, Annie at the check-in desk always has a smile and kind word. Jordon, the nurse with Dr. O’steen is fabulous. I rarely am comfortable with males taking care of me, but he is the exception. Truly, everyone in the department is wonderful, but those three made getting radiation treatments so much less scary.

The lovely ladies at the front desk are a treasure. They greeted every paitient by name which is a real comfort. The Oncology Nurse Navigator Ann [last name] made me feel so comfortable as she explained the mapping procedure as did the 2 gentlemen who did the CT scan procedure to help design the mold that I'll wear during my radiation treatments. Dr. O'steen explained the treatment procedure very clearly as well. I feel that I am as well informed as I can be about my upcoming radiation treatments.
