Highly professional medical team focused on my individual circumstances and disease led by doctors who can convey highly technical medical information in laymen’s terms so that I and my family better understand potential risks and outcomes. This is very important to me.

They are up front with pros and cons of treatment. They also listened to me and heard me. After listening to my concerns, they contacted a colleague in the Head and Neck department who had a differing opinion about the best order of treatment. That was presented to me and we are backing up and doing further exploration to confirm if a change in treatment plan is best for me. They are treating me, not the diagnosis and I greatly appreciate it.

From Dr. Olson to the entire staff, everyone has been kind and caring. Dr. Olson is always willing to thoroughly answer any of my questions, even when they are off the wall! I never have a really long wait time, which, when you're dealing with cancer, is so important to my stress levels. Quick turnaround on test results, quick answers to any questions I post on MyChart, etc. I highly recommend Baptist South Radiation Oncology.
