I want to take a moment to acknowledge the kindness and professionalism of the staff at the front counter at Baptist Behavioral Health. Their friendly presence makes a real difference each time I walk in. I also deeply appreciate my counselor and APRN—they genuinely listen to what I’m going through, and I listen to them as well. That mutual respect means a lot. It took courage for me, as the patient, to ask for help. I did, and now I’m receiving the support I need to begin feeling better about myself.

"Dr. Ov" is by far the best mental health provider I have worked with in regards to medication management in the roughly 20 or so years I have needed treatment. He explains EVERY medication not just what it is but why I'm taking it and how it interacts with other medications. Even when he's running behind, he never makes me feel rushed or that he doesn't have the time for me. I am grateful for his care.

I love my therapist, Elizabeth. She has given me more tools to work through the issues we discuss in therapy than any therapist I have seen in the past. I really wish I could stay with her after my EAP sessions are exhausted because I feel like I have really made progress with her.

My LMHC truly listened to what I had to say, and that meant a lot. I’m really hurting right now—my anxiety has been intense—but I’m thankful for having someone who genuinely heard me. I’m holding onto hope that I’ll find my smile again and begin moving forward in my life.
The front desk staff were professional and kind, and walking into 1506 felt comforting—the waiting room was bright and welcoming. Filling out the paperwork gave me a moment to breathe before my counselor came to meet me.
I’m grateful to Baptist Health and the social workers who supported me through the Bridge program. They helped me help myself, and that’s something I’ll always carry with me. I want to feel better. I want to move forward. And I thank you—for being part of that journey.
It takes courage for a patient to ask for help. And I have.
