I had virtual appointments with my counselor Kelly Shurman, LMHC. Ms. Shurman was an outstanding counselor to me. With virtual appointments it can be difficult when the other person starts talking, but when Ms. Shurman realized I had started talking she would stop so I may continue talking and I really appreciated that about her. I also felt that she listened to me with genuine care and concern. If in the future I thought I needed to talk to an LMHC again I hope it would be Ms. Kelly Shurman.

Thanks so much for everything and the experience was amazingly phenomenal. All staff are wonderful and are very friendly, supportive, and most of all professionally helpful. I had a good virtual appointment with Kelly Shurman. I could hear her and see her well. My only criticism is that it's very confusing to find the BBH office ??? finding the right building, elevators to take, which floor to step off onto, and then navigating the hallways to the BBH office. This is why I told Kelly Shurman for the most part my appointments with her will be virtual.

First off the Michael my counselor was supposed to be leading it and I missed the first one so was a shock to see someone else and told he's working on another project. I only decided to do the therapy because he was going to be leading it. Second, I don't like to be called upon to speak, and after having to tell my name I had to speak again. I haven't decided if I want to continue the 6 sessions for group or not

These sessions were a waste of time. Majority of the session was spent rating my feelings. There was never any time spent talking about the core issues. Not effective at all.
